DMCA & Copyright Policy

Qnsb respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA"), 17 U.S.C. § 512, we respond to valid copyright infringement notices and may remove or disable access to allegedly infringing material.

Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you are a copyright owner (or authorized to act on behalf of one) and believe that content on Qnsb infringes your copyright, please send a written notice containing all of the following information:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or a representative list if multiple works are involved)
  3. Identification of the infringing material and information reasonably sufficient to locate it on the Site (exact URL(s) required)
  4. Your contact information: full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
  6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner

What Happens After We Receive a Notice

Upon receipt of a valid and complete DMCA notice, we will:

Counter-Notification

If you believe material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to our DMCA agent. Your counter-notification must include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature
  2. Identification of the material that was removed and its location before removal
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed due to mistake or misidentification
  4. Your name, address, telephone number, and consent to jurisdiction of the federal court in your district (or if outside the U.S., any judicial district in which we may be found)
  5. Consent to accept service of process from the person who filed the original DMCA notice

If we receive a valid counter-notification, we may restore the material in accordance with DMCA timelines unless the original complainant files a court action.

Repeat Infringer Policy

In appropriate circumstances, Qnsb may terminate access for users or sources that are repeat infringers of copyright or other intellectual property rights.

Qnsb is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the developers or publishers of listed software unless explicitly stated. References to third-party products are for identification and informational purposes only.

False Claims

Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that material was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages. Please ensure your notice or counter-notification is accurate before submitting.
