How It Works (Android and Computer Use)

gCMOB is primarily an Android mobile app, but you can also run it on a computer. A common option is to use an Android emulator such as BlueStacks or Nox. This lets you view the interface on a larger screen while using the same app experience. After launching the program, the video feed appears right away.

Adding a Device

The app typically opens to the Device Manager dashboard. Tap Add to reach the next screen, then enter details such as:

• System name
• IP address
• Port
• User name
• Password

You may keep the channel number as-is or update it to match the correct channel. After that, values automatically refresh for actions like display, replay, and setup. When you press Save, the app returns to the home page.

Deleting and Editing Channels

• To remove a channel, tap the red button on the channel’s screen.
• To update a device, choose it, then go to the Edit tab and modify things like device name, IP address, port, user name, password, and other settings.

Watching and Interaction

Beyond viewing feeds, the app also supports communication and quick capture:

• Watch the video feed
• Use two-way talk through the microphone
• Snap and save footage

You can select a channel from the device list to start playing it. You can also drag one or more channels from the list into the window area where you want them to display.
