Infinite Painter

Infinite Painter is a powerful digital painting app that helps you create impressive artwork with a simple, focused workflow. Download the newest Android version for free and let your ideas turn into real drawings. It’s designed to be strong and capable while staying easy to use, so you can spend more time creating and less time figuring things out.

The app includes a wide range of tools, layers, and brushes built to help you bring your creative concepts to life—whether you paint casually or for more serious projects.

Wonderful Function

Infinite Painter gives you the essentials you need to unleash your creativity. As the developers put it, it isn’t trying to be “Photoshop, Procreate, or Sketchbook”—it’s its own tool, while still delivering performance that stacks up well against similar apps.

The interface includes everything you’d expect from a modern drawing program. Undo and redo buttons sit in the lower-left and lower-right corners. You’ll also find drop-down panels for managing your layers, so you can create, edit, and organize them as you work. On top of that, there are many drawing options, including 160+ brushes such as pencils, markers, blending tools, and more.

One of the most attractive aspects is how customizable the brush tools are. You can fine-tune both brush size and brush intensity to produce very different results. You can also use a full color palette to match your style.

Infinite Painter includes extra workflow features that make it convenient to use. For example, you can hide the interface with a single tap. When saving your work, you get plenty of options: export as JPG or PNG, and you can also export as PSD for later editing in Photoshop. You can even import PSD files.

If you want inspiration, you can also check the official website to view artwork created by other users.

User Comments

  • Edit: 2/23/25 — I’ve recommended this app for years. But after noticing the complete removal of the legacy brushes, I’m really disappointed—they were perfect for my projects. Please bring them back!

Original review — This app has improved a lot since I bought it. It’s absolutely worth it, with tools and brushes that are harder to find or create in other programs. Like all apps, it can crash, so please save regularly.

  • Good drawing app. The brush variety feels neither too small nor overly broad. If you want more, you can always download additional brushes from the community. I also love that you can add more than one reference image—super helpful. The tools are easy to understand and the software feels less complicated. Overall, it’s a good app.

  • My favorite free drawing app, honestly. Yes, you may need to pay a small amount to unlock every feature, but I can still draw without paying for extra options. You can also try all features free for 7 days (one week), so you can decide whether it’s worth buying. In my opinion, it’s better than ibis Paint X.

  • This is a full-featured digital art app. No complaints, and it feels natural if you’ve used Photoshop. I mainly use it for digital coloring and painting, and it’s a joy to use on my phone with a stylus. The minimalist interface is refreshing, and there are plenty of settings to customize your UI. Totally free with Play Pass.

  • As someone who used the app when it was still new and less stable, I really like how much more reliable, intuitive, and improved it has become.
