• I bought my Shark Ion Robot RV750 a little over a year ago. For around three months, I tried multiple times every day to connect it to Wi‑Fi, but it never worked. Then one day it connected by itself, which was a huge relief. After the newest update, though, it disconnected again—and I couldn’t get it reconnected. We love our Rosie and it does a fantastic job around our farm house, handling dirty paws, dogs, and four grandsons running in and out after playing outside. The Wi‑Fi problem is the big drawback. We also like using scheduling, but it’s essentially useless without a stable Wi‑Fi connection. Voice control through Google Home also didn’t work for us. It’s not hard to reach down and turn the robot on, but with a busy schedule it becomes a major inconvenience. I followed the troubleshooting steps in the help section countless times, searched for solutions, and nothing helped. Based on what I’ve read from other reviews, contacting customer service didn’t seem helpful either.

  

• After having it for about four days, I’ve been really impressed so far. I had a small hiccup on day one—the bin got clogged and I had to remove it manually. I decided to give it a chance since my floors were pretty bad at the time. On the second try, the vacuum mapped the house successfully, and that was a great start. With scheduling, I should be able to keep the floors clean enough to avoid clogs again. I’m giving it 4 stars because there are a couple app improvements I’d love to see. First, I’d like scheduling to be more flexible—specifically the ability to choose which rooms get cleaned. I’ve seen others mention this, so I hope the developers are paying attention. Second, I’d like permanent settings such as keeping vacuum strength at maximum. I shouldn’t have to open the app just to change power levels. If settings must be adjusted manually every time, it defeats the purpose of scheduling. I also feel it picks up smaller debris better when set to max, and battery life shouldn’t be the reason, especially since it can charge and resume. I’m genuinely enjoying it and I think it could be even better with these changes.

• This vacuum has been incredible. It handles a lot of corners and tight spaces really well—and somehow it even manages to get back out. My main floor is about 2,000 sq ft of mostly hardwood, and the vacuum runs for roughly 75 minutes to clean the whole level. I expected it to struggle with all the hair around the house, but I was pleasantly surprised. I even allowed my son to rescue a Husky. She’s one of the sweetest dogs we’ve ever had, and thanks to this vacuum, I rarely see her hair anywhere. During that 75‑minute run, SharkBaitOhAhAh empties itself in the middle, then continues to finish the rest.
