  On Apple devices running iOS 13 and above, you must enable location permission for the app in your system settings, and set it to “Allow when using.”

• Will the camera show red lights when night vision turns on?

  The camera’s built-in infrared lamp beads may show a few dim red lights when night vision is activated, but the image remains clear even in low/no-light environments.

• What are the Wi‑Fi requirements?

  Use a 2.4GHz Wi‑Fi network. The device does not support 5GHz. Also set the Wi‑Fi authentication method to WPA2‑PSK (or another security option with a lower level). A password is required.

• How far should the camera be from the router?

  Testing shows the connection can typically reach up to 150 meters in open areas. Real performance depends on Wi‑Fi strength and surroundings—thick walls, electromagnetic devices, and large metal objects can interfere with the signal.

  If the connection is weak or unstable, place the camera as close to the router as possible.
