DroidJoy Lite Mod
With DroidJoy Gamepad Joystick Lite, Android users can turn their phones into game controllers for Windows PCs. The app is designed to work with a wide range of PC titles, so you can often play nearly any game directly from your Android device. Popular games such as Grand Theft Auto V, Call of Duty, Need for Speed, Sonic Mania, Grand Theft Auto San Andreas, Counter-Strike, and many others are supported thanks to DInput and XInput emulation.

Key Features

- Virtual Controller Replacement: Use your Android phone like a real controller to play games on a Windows PC with DroidJoy controller Joystick Lite. This lets you enjoy PC games without needing a physical controller. You can also build a fully customizable control layout on your smartphone.
- Multiplayer Support for Multiple Players: DroidJoy Gamepad Joystick Lite supports multiplayer play with you and up to three friends at the same time on their phones. This helps create a more connected, shared gaming experience even when everyone is in different locations.
- Xbox 360 Controller Emulation: By using an integrated XInput driver, the app can mimic an Xbox 360 controller. That means you can use your Android phone to play Xbox 360–style games on your computer instead of relying on a traditional controller.
- Custom Layout Setup: Since DroidJoy Gamepad Joystick Lite templates are fully editable, you can design the control scheme that fits your play style. You can adjust button positions for each game to improve comfort and performance.
- Quick and Easy Configuration: Connect your Android device to a Windows PC using DroidJoy Gamepad Joystick Lite. You can choose Wi‑Fi or Bluetooth for the connection. This makes it faster to get your virtual gamepad ready and start playing.

FAQs
Does DroidJoy work on Xbox, PlayStation, or Nintendo Switch?
Unfortunately, no. DroidJoy currently works only with Windows PCs. You must install the DroidJoy server on your PC so it can communicate with your operating system. Consoles are closed systems and don’t allow communication in a way that enables reliable gamepad emulation. The developer has tried working through RemotePlay protocols, but it takes too much effort for a solo project. Any assistance with this challenge would be appreciated.
Why doesn’t my game detect the DroidJoy virtual gamepad?
Most likely, the game expects an XInput controller. DroidJoy supports XInput emulation out of the box—just open the Gamepad Tab and enable the XInput checkbox. Then press Save Config.
Also make sure the DroidJoy server is running before you start your game or emulator. Some games won’t recognize controllers that become available after launch. If that happens, simply restart the game.
Which games are supported?

In general, DroidJoy works with games that support either DInput or XInput gamepads.
Note: DInput controllers typically need to be calibrated inside the game you’re playing, and not every game supports both controller types.
I can’t connect more than one smartphone to the DroidJoy server—what should I do?

You may have configured only one virtual gamepad. To add a second phone, go to another Gamepad Tab and enable the Activate XInput gamepad option (in older server versions, this is called the Plugged checkbox). After that, click Save Config.
The setup can configure up to four gamepads total. In general, you should configure the same number of gamepads as the number of smartphones that want to connect to the server.
What’s the difference between DroidJoy Lite and the Full version?
- Lite version: Includes ads that must be watched to unlock certain features, and customization isn’t fully available for free. Aside from those restrictions, it still provides the full set of features of the paid version and can be used without time limits.
- Full version: Paid once (not free). It includes all features and removes ads. You can purchase it one time and install it on all your Android devices. If you’d like to support the developer, a review in the Store is appreciated.
What other connection options are there besides Wi‑Fi?
If you don’t have Wi‑Fi available at home, DroidJoy also supports other connection methods (the original text is cut off here).
