uCaptain is a 3D fishing game that mixes boat driving with real fishing challenges. Sail your vessel across waters around the globe and embark on a rewarding fishing journey. Every sea in the game hides uncommon fish species—your task is to unlock them one by one.

Before you head out, you’ll need to design and build your boat, using your ideas to create the strongest vessel you can. As you travel to different regions, you must combine patience and fishing skill to land the rarest catches and feel real satisfaction after each successful trip.

Different fish call for different setups. Depending on what you’re targeting, you’ll also need to adjust your reel and bait to improve your chances of hooking the fish you want.

Player Feedback

• One player said it becomes quite fun after leveling up, since better gear and boats unlock over time. They noted some gameplay aspects still need improvement, but called it the best fishing game they’ve played. They also requested a multiplayer option in the future. Edit (8/19/2025): they reported a bug after an update, contacted the developer, and said it was fixed fairly quickly. They’re looking forward to “uCaptain 2!”



• Another review warned that it can be easy to lose saved account data. They reported losing progress twice, even after saving regularly, and said contacting developers through the help menu provided no help. They described losing opened harbors and major boats full of gear and options, with no compensation.



• A player said they didn’t expect much but were surprised after starting. They described it as not fast-paced, but something you slowly fall into. Progress takes time, yet they felt a strong sense of accomplishment when upgrading to bigger boats and better equipment.
