Story Overview

Heroes starts off trying to transform so he can help Gwen and Kevin take on the Forever Knights. But Jimmy Jones keeps trying to get in touch with Heroes about something important.

Eventually, Heroes becomes separated from Gwen and Kevin and finds himself trying to escape the catacombs. Along the way, he encounters Vulkanus and his pick-axe minions, who appear to be searching for something specific.

After defeating the pick-axe minions as Ultimate Humungousaur and then taking down Vulkanus, Heroes continues pushing deeper to find an exit. He soon meets an old enemy, Enoch, who has been empowered by an alien artifact.

Once Enoch is defeated, Heroes takes the artifact away—only for Enoch to be turned into a stone statue. Heroes then drops the artifact on the ground. At that moment, Gwen and Kevin pick him up, and when Jimmy calls again, he warns of a cosmic storm moving toward Earth.

Heroes contacts several Plumber ships to investigate the storm, but the approach ends badly: a devastating blast destroys the ships.

Meanwhile, Ben, Gwen, and Kevin witness Null Void creatures attacking France. The group rushes there to stop the invasion. At a Forever Knight museum, Heroes discovers the Vreedle Brothers trying to steal an alien artifact.

After defeating them, Sunder shows up and takes the artifact. Heroes chases Sunder, stopping briefly to watch a Will Harangue broadcast featuring battle footage of Heroes in Italy and France, sourced anonymously.

When Sunder attempts to kill Heroes inside a burning building, the chase continues up to the Eiffel Tower. Frustrated that Heroes keeps interfering, Sunder lashes out—yet Heroes saves civilians from the attacks and defeats Sunder using Ultimate Swampfire, grabs the piece, and escapes as the flaming Eiffel Tower collapses.

Inside the Rust Bucket 3, Azmuth explains that a hostile To'kustar is coming to destroy Heroes. Azmuth reveals that an ancient Galvan weapon is buried on Earth in scattered parts called Potis Altiare. When assembled with the Ultimatrix, it can give Heroes the power needed to defeat the To'kustar.

Much to his surprise, Heroes already holds a piece of Potis Altiare—the same artifact Sunder and the others were after. They also figure out that the artifact Enoch was using was another Potis Altiare piece. Since Heroes already cleared the area’s threats, the group shifts focus toward finding the remaining parts.
