Bloons Monkey City
Bloons Monkey City blends city building with strategic tower defense. You’ll grow a small settlement into a bustling metropolis, then defend it by placing towers on nearby tiles to stop relentless balloon attacks. Each time you defeat incoming bloons, you earn valuable resources that you can use to construct and upgrade buildings throughout your city.
Near your city, you’ll find 11 different tile types, and each one grants a distinct bonus that supports a particular kind of defensive tower. To get the best results, you’ll need to position your towers thoughtfully so they dish out maximum damage. The game also includes online multiplayer, letting you team up with friends or go head-to-head in competitive matches.
Gameplay Overview
In Bloons Monkey City, you’re responsible for building your own Monkey City while defending it from waves of colorful bloons. The gameplay mixes planning, decision-making, and fast reactions, making it both strategic and highly engaging.
The game’s challenge ramps up as you have to respond to the type and number of bloons attacking your city. Because enemy waves can change, you’ll constantly adjust your defenses—keeping the experience varied rather than repetitive.
There’s also a PVP mode where you can invade other players’ cities. This competitive layer adds another strategic dimension and helps the game stand out among typical tower defense titles.
City Customization and Defensive Lineup
A major highlight is how much you can shape your city. You can build and upgrade a wide range of structures, including banana farms to generate in-game currency, power stations for energy, and multiple kinds of monkey towers for defense. You can also choose from a variety of monkeys, each with its own abilities and upgrade route.

Useful Tips
Don’t Dismiss the Tower Defense Mini-Games
Mini-games are optional and typically come with no lives to lose—so there’s little downside to trying them. Still, you’ll want to play them seriously, because clearing them helps you claim more territory for your city. Make sure you can complete them successfully without losing any of your lives.
When You’re Unsure, Use the Quest Book

If you’re new—or you just don’t know what to do next—the Quest Book is your go-to guide. It outlines your main route through the game, and each completed quest grants additional coins and experience, so don’t ignore your next objective.
Start With Two-Dot Stages (Beginners)
Don’t take on harder challenges too early. When you tap on unclaimed land, you’ll see a bloons icon along with a dot count. Stages showing only two dots are the easiest, so beginners should start there.
Coins and the Monkey Bank

At the beginning of the game, you’ll have a Monkey Bank that can store up to 1,500 coins. Claiming land earns you 100 coins each time, so it won’t take long to fill the bank—making it important to manage your coin flow wisely.
