A mighty dragon race was born on a mysterious, life-filled continent—but prosperity slowly turned into trouble. In Merge Dragons!, you’ll use your magic to merge dragons into stronger forms, craft better weapons, heal Dragon Valley, and push back an army of evil zombies.

There are 500+ merge combinations and 600+ quests to complete. The game rewards you generously, helping you progress faster as you craft more items and build up your dragon ranks. Diverse play options are also a big part of the experience: you can focus on whatever you like—collecting items, working toward star goals, or building up your merges. Plus, there are limited-time events that offer even more rewards.

Background

Step into a strange new land. This continent—made, cared for, and shaped by countless unknown magics across the universe—is covered in mist and known as Dragon Valley. For ages, it has been sustained by the power of heaven and earth, becoming home to hundreds of dragons. For a long time, they lived in peace… until one day.

Out of a black hole buried deep under the earth, evil zombies burst forth. They multiplied quickly, spreading chaos, and carving countless voids into the valley. Bit by bit, the once vibrant and magical landscape faded, swallowed by darkness.

At the worst possible moment, you appear as a dragon knight—the last hope. Your mission is to fuse items and entities of the same kind using magic, creating stronger results. Keep crafting weapons and tools to restore the land, and heal the damage that tore Dragon Valley apart.

You must do more than rescue the valley—you also need to directly destroy the zombies, eliminating the root of the threat. Rely on your dragon companions: merge dragon eggs to hatch powerful dragons, use fusion to help them grow, and gradually assemble a formidable dragon force. Then take them into battle to drive the monsters back and bring light and lasting peace to the dragon realm.

Gameplay

Merge Dragons! is all about satisfying, thought-provoking fusion gameplay. You’ll combine different materials to recreate the glory of the Dragon Kingdom.

For instance, you can merge three tree trunks to create what comes next. And by fusing three dragon eggs, you’ll hatch a dragon and begin your restoration journey.

On the world map, you’ll solve a variety of puzzles to earn stars and points. The faster and more efficiently you merge, the more stars you earn—making your progress smoother and your experience even better.

After merging and collecting creatures, remember: you should bring what you’ve gained into the world of light—you can’t send them to the dark.

Reviews

I love this game!!! It has a lot of content, but it doesn’t feel overly complicated, and it’s a great way to pass the time when you’re stressed. It also doesn’t force you into multiplayer or pressure you to spend money. Even if you do spend a little at the end, you usually feel like you’re getting solid value.

One of my favorite things is that you’re not required to complete quests or join events. If I’m not in the mood, I can just stay home, tidy up my campsite, or play with the dust sprites. The events can be fun, but sometimes they feel a bit stressful—so I skip them when I want to. Also, it doesn’t feel like you “miss out forever,” because events come back.

I really like it overall, and my hopes for improvement are minor. First, the friends area: it would be great if there were a small notification, such as whether a friend is no longer logged in or is offline. Sending gifts can be a little inconvenient without that. It would also be even better if you could delete friends.

Second, the campsite: I’d like an option to store items, or for items to be placed into bubbles without needing to wait for campsite space to open up. Aside from those points, the game is excellent—definitely worth trying.

Pros: Ads rarely appear unless you tap a button like “watch an ad.” The visuals are beautiful, detailed, and high-resolution. I also love the distinct designs for each dragon. Gameplay is extremely varied, so you can choose your own focus—leveling up, collecting certain items, earning stars, and more. I personally prefer shorter events with clear goals rather than events that drag on for weeks.

Cons: Gems are hard to earn and are often the only reliable way to get specific items. Some items feel overpriced, and the amount you can buy with gems without spending real money is limited. For casual players, though, this isn’t usually a dealbreaker.
