In the Cooking area, you’ll find facilities such as veggie slicers, juicers, peelers, and more. In the Rest area, facilities provide downtime and fun for your cats, often with bonus rewards. Examples include treasure chests, good luck jars, and bulletin boards. To activate their benefits, you’ll need to place these facilities.

Important: Cooking facilities require cats. After building a cooking facility, tap the cat picture shown below it to summon a random cat. The cat will begin using the facility right away.

• Facility types to look for
  Under cooking, you can unlock tools like cabbage slicers, carrot slicers, juicers, and other stations. The gold you earn from idle income and from selling soups helps you purchase these facilities.
• Always pair a facility with a cat
  A facility won’t be useful without a kitty assigned to it. Cats slice and prep veggies for soups and help produce tasty juices. When you place a facility into an empty slot, summon a new cat by tapping the cat icon.
• Assign cats to match the workflow
  For example, if you add a new cat to a juice-making facility, she will start working there immediately. If the facility is a cabbage slicer, the cat will begin slicing cabbages, collect the sliced ingredients, and then move to the central cooking cauldron to add cabbage for cabbage soup.
• Soup variety can earn more
  Flavored soups—like carrot and cabbage varieties—tend to bring in more gold than plain options, so it’s worth experimenting with different ingredients.
