As you push deeper into battles and puzzles, your relationships with these characters grow stronger, and you’ll also unlock a variety of exciting animation scenes. Even so, the dungeons won’t be easy—expect enemies, traps, and danger at every step, so staying alert is the key to making steady progress.

Player Impressions
“Pretty good—and definitely worth it.” If you’re an SAO fan (or even if you aren’t), you’ll likely have a good time. It can feel grindy, but the overall experience is still 100% worth it. The art stands out, and the game also feels fairly short.
“The art hits hard.” Combat feels more engaging than typical RPGM titles. Early gameplay is rough, but it’s still playable. For SAO fans, it’s a must play.
“Mixed feelings, but with real strengths.” The art is a standout and strongly matches SAO’s look, including scenes that feel true to the original style. The story starts with a cool introduction, focusing on Eydis from SAO: Rising Steel as she searches for her sister, alongside an original playable character, Cecilia. However, the writing can sometimes come off as cringe. Combat is where the experience surprises—its system feels more unique than typical RPG Maker combat, and it uses three main ways to hurt enemies:
- Magic: Often the most useful and satisfying.
- TP: Usually less effective, but you can build it by getting hit or landing attacks.
- Regular melee/charge attacks: Spend stamina.
The game is not turn-based, so stamina matters a lot—this creates a common complaint: movement can feel slow because regular attacks and sprinting share the same stamina bar. Turning on auto-run can help, but it can also make the pacing feel sluggish when you’re not using sprint effectively.
