Key Features
Character Customization
Customize your in-game fighter, the Gunner, with a range of upgradeable abilities, perks, and visual items. This variety helps you shape a playstyle that matches your strengths and supports your team’s overall strategy.

Tactical Gameplay
Even though fights move quickly, success depends on strategy. Strong team coordination, map awareness, and the ability to adjust to what’s happening on the battlefield are vital for winning. Matches are designed to feel like a rapid “mind game” where tactics matter as much as aim.

Immersive Environments
The world of Guns of Boom is built with striking, detail-rich locations—from neon city zones to rough industrial areas. These environments aren’t just stylish; they also provide tactical angles, height advantages, and cover you can use to outplay opponents.

Progression and Upgrades
As you play, you unlock new weapons, abilities, and additional customization options. This progression keeps your Gunner evolving and helps you stay effective in a constantly changing battlefield.
Competitive Multiplayer
At the core of the game is competitive play: intense 4v4 battles against opponents from around the world. Matchmaking aims to pair you with players of similar skill, creating fair competition and a challenging experience.
In-Game Strategies
Reload at the right time
Use the manual reload button (the small circular icon at the bottom of the screen). Reloading helps you rack up kills and avoid getting caught with low ammo. If you run out during a fight, the game may automatically reload—potentially leaving you vulnerable for a moment—or swap you to a weaker pistol, which can swing the fight against you.
Tip: Reload as soon as you get a safe opening—after you’ve fired enough shots to make the exchange worth it. Avoid reloading in the open or while you’re actively being pressured. Instead, find a quieter spot, back off, or use cover.
Use aiming sights effectively
Sights are easy to understand on a sniper rifle, but they can also be valuable with other weapons. While aiming down sights may feel a bit slower—especially for movement—it becomes a powerful tool when accuracy matters most.
Why it helps: Proper sight use makes it easier to land multiple headshots, which typically drop enemies faster than body shots.
When to use them:
- Don’t pull up sights while sprinting across open areas where you need quick movement and a clear view.
- Don’t use sights when your opponent is extremely close.
- Do aim when rounding a corner into a corridor or when you spot an enemy at mid to long range—then aim for the head.
Stay calm—don’t fire automatically
It’s tempting to shoot at anything that appears in your view, but disciplined targeting usually wins more fights than spraying shots at every opportunity.
Tip: Keep your shots intentional—focus on positioning, timing, and the best moments to engage.
