Earn to Die 2 Introduction
Earn to Die 2 Earn to Die 2 is a post-apocalyptic zombie racing adventure. Drive across highways, tunnels, and factories, choose the best route, smash undead for loot, and upgrade or unlock vehicles to survive.
Earn to Die 2

Earn to Die 2 is a post-apocalyptic driving and racing game where you try to escape a zombie-filled world. Your mission is to travel across the country and reach an evacuation ship, pushing your vehicle to the limit as you drive through danger after danger.
Behind the wheel, every decision matters. You’ll plan your route—whether to smash through places like a bridge or take the path through a factory—while an endless swarm of zombies closes in. Ram through them to collect loot, then use what you find to upgrade your current car or unlock brand-new vehicles for better odds in later stages.
You can also customize your ride with helpful add-ons, including items like roof-mounted machine guns and boosters to improve both performance and firepower. Get strapped in, pick your favorite vehicle, and unleash full-on carnage as you plow through wave after wave of undead.
Key Features
Multi-Tier Urban Levels
Compared with the first game, Earn to Die 2 offers far more variety. Expect levels that stretch across highways, underground tunnels, overpasses, and zombie-filled industrial areas. With multiple route options, you’ll be encouraged to explore and find smarter ways through each map.
Longer Story Mode with Unlockables
The campaign is much bigger than earlier versions. The story mode is up to ten times longer than older web editions, and it includes plenty of unlockable content. After finishing the main campaign, you’ll also gain access to a dedicated Missions mode.
Destructible Vehicles & Ragdoll Physics
Collisions aren’t just damaging—they’re dramatic. When you hit zombies or obstacles, vehicle parts can break off, and ragdoll physics send enemies flying. Even if your car falls apart during a run, it automatically repairs between attempts.
Upgrade System
Progress isn’t only about distance. You earn money by going farther, smashing zombies, and completing missions. Spend it on upgrades such as fuel tanks, engines, armor, boosters, and more. Later levels require bigger investments if you want upgrades that truly make a difference.
Diverse Vehicle Lineup
Unlock up to ten vehicles, ranging from sports cars to police cruisers—and even an ice-cream van. Each vehicle comes with its own stats and different upgrade options.
Tips from Players
- Small, quick taps on the left or right rotation controls can help you correct your line.
- Don’t over-steer. If you flip the vehicle too much, it can roll over and you may lose parts.
- Keep your finger ready on acceleration. If you stop completely, you lose—even if you still have fuel.
- Use the boost carefully since it’s limited. A great time to activate it is right before a ramp, so you can fly farther and cover more ground.
- After upgrading enough, still be cautious when hitting barriers. Speed helps, but you don’t want to break off critical parts.
- Vehicles can be destroyed piece by piece—wheels, boosters, and other components can come off—so pay attention to what you’re losing.
- You can buy extra fuel before a session, but use it sparingly.
- Early on, it’s usually better to spend money on upgrades instead of fuel.
- Save extra fuel for when you’re almost at a checkpoint from a previous run but just can’t quite make it.
- An engine upgrade improves acceleration and fuel efficiency, helping you move faster and go farther—often a strong early priority.
- Transmission upgrades increase your maximum speed, letting you cover more distance per run.
- Better wheels improve grip, which matters more as levels become hillier later on.
- A gun upgrade lets you automatically shoot zombies until you run out of ammo. Ammo is scarce, so it’s not always the most efficient early purchase—consider it later.

- “It’s not pay-to-win. Ads aren’t intrusive, and you even get a FREE $7,500 shortly after finishing level 1.”
- “It stays fun even though you repeat runs—each one feels both familiar and different.”
- “Very fun!”
