Trials of Mana Introduction
Trials of Mana Trials of Mana is a fantasy action RPG where you assemble a party of three heroes, explore a world at risk, and battle evil forces. Combat choices, training, and nirvana skills influence your story and ending.
Trials of Mana
Trials of Mana is a fantasy action role-playing game set in a world teetering on the edge of destruction. You step into the role of a savior and journey through dangerous lands to stand against evil and protect the world. Along the way, you’ll explore a distinctive setting and meet a wide range of heroes. Your task is to pick three heroes out of six, each belonging to a different character with its own growth path. Every decision and action you take matters—shaping the story and influencing the ending you ultimately reach.
Gameplay
During exploration, once you move far enough in a given area, monsters will appear and combat begins inside a limited battle zone. Defeat the enemies to push forward. If you’d rather avoid fights, you can run toward the edge of the area for a short window to escape the encounter.
You can tailor your combat objectives and tactics to match your team composition, helping you improve overall efficiency in battle. As your characters level up, you’ll earn training points. In the training menu, you can spend these points across five attributes—Strength, Defense, Wisdom, Spirit, and Luck—to unlock more skills, abilities, and special skills, strengthening your fighters.
Each character has two physical attack types—a normal attack and a heavy attack—and also access to four Nirvanas. In the early stage, you can only use one Nirvana. Additional Nirvanas become available only after class changes. As the Nirvana power increases, the number of SP slots required by its technique also rises.
Class transfer system: A character can be transferred a total of three times. The first transfer requires reaching level 18. The second transfer requires reaching level 38 and using the appropriate career transfer items. The third transfer can’t be completed until after you’ve cleared the relevant content (customs clearance).

There are two career transfer routes: Light and Dark. After transferring, you’ll gain more than just new Nirvanas—you can also expand normal combo options, increase the number of skill slots you can equip, and unlock additional special skills through the training column. You’ll also obtain new exterior clothing.
If you dislike a character’s stats after transferring, you can visit the Goddess and spend reset items to remake the class.
