Cluedo is a classic mystery puzzle game that drops you into a series of cases, where you can compete against other players or challenge a sharp AI. Your job is to use the clue cards to figure out the murder weapon and the crime’s method, then match them to the correct character in each room. Get the answers right room by room, and you win.

The game also supports multiplayer, letting up to six players go head-to-head. Use your judgment and strategy to climb the leaderboard. Cluedo is continuously updated too, adding new characters and scenarios to keep the mystery fresh.

Gameplay / Story

• Three cards are dealt face-down and placed aside — these form the solution.
• Everyone receives three Clue Cards. They’re automatically crossed off on your clue sheet because they can’t be part of the final solution.
• Roll the dice and move around the board.
• When you enter a room, you can make a suggestion: choose the murderer, the weapon, and where the crime took place.
• Other players try to disprove your suggestion. If they have a card that matches one of your claims, they reveal it to you.



• Use your clue sheet to track which characters, weapons, and rooms have already been disproven.
• Think you’ve solved it? Make an accusation. Be careful: if you’re right you win, but if you’re wrong you’re eliminated.

At the start, you’re assigned one of six main characters: Miss Scarlet, Colonel Mustard, Mrs Peacock, Mr Green, Dr Orchid, and Professor Plum. All of these characters appear in the Tudor Mansion, where a serial crime is about to begin.

The first victim is Mr. Boddy. You must uncover the culprit quickly to stop the killings from continuing.

As the story unfolds, tension grows among everyone in the castle—because one of them is the killer. The twist is that regardless of which character you transform into, the other characters still carry their own secrets. Your goal is to immerse yourself in the mystery and gather clues to identify the real culprit. Expect surprising turns as you investigate.

Uncover the Truth Through Clues

By playing Cluedo, you can access all available developments and take advantage of every chance to solve the case. In general, the more clues you collect, the quicker you’ll be able to narrow down who the criminal is.

During each situation, you’ll choose one of the cards shown on screen to help solve the story’s mystery. You’ll also roll the dice to determine how many turns you get. The dice outcome indicates the room position you’re allowed to move to inside the mansion. Each room provides its own set of clues, and you’ll need to select the most suitable card to extract the information you’re after.

Use the Suggestion Board

Cluedo includes a hint system to make tough questions easier to handle. The suggestion board helps guide your investigation by revealing the reasoning behind each clue, helping you move in the right direction and reduce wrong assumptions.

Figure Out Your Opponents’ Cards

Cluedo uses 21 cards total: 6 suspects, 9 rooms, and 6 weapons. That means there are many possible combinations for “who did it, where, and with what.”

Before the game starts, one player secretly takes a suspect, a room, and a weapon card, places them into a secret envelope, and those three cards make up the solution. The remaining cards are distributed among the players as evenly as possible—so the cards you and your opponents hold are not the killing cards.

Then, use elimination to mark off cards your opponents must have. When you make a suggestion about the murder cards, aim to gather new information. Don’t waste time asking about cards you already know opponents hold. The only ones you should still consider asking about are the cards you personally hold, since nobody else can disprove them. This approach can throw off other players and put you at an advantage.

Eliminate One Possibility Every Turn

You won’t always be able to remove an option on every single turn, but narrowing down the possibilities is the whole point. The player who does it fastest gains a major edge. Ideally, you should make a suggestion every turn. If you skip making a suggestion, it’s essentially a lost opportunity.
