Door Kickers: Action Squad

Door Kickers: Action Squad is a side-scrolling action-adventure game where you step into the role of SWAT operators. Your mission: push back terrorists who hide behind walls and buildings. You’ll need to kick doors open, choose the right weapons, and land accurate shots to clear each level and complete objectives.
The game includes six playable characters and 60+ weapons and gear, with each character bringing their own abilities and traits. Picking the best character for the kind of mission you’re facing can make progress much smoother. There’s also an endless mode, where you survive through continuous waves of terrorists while managing your loadout, equipment, and medical supplies.
Features
Nostalgic Pixel Art
Classic-style characters and locations bring a familiar, nostalgic vibe—while still feeling fresh. Expect classic colors and a look that makes you want to jump right back in.

Vibrant Environment Design
Explore varied terrain packed with interesting details. You may encounter dense forests, hidden caves, and buildings that contain valuable loot. Every area is designed to feel like it has something new to discover.
Smooth Action Animation
Combat moments and story situations flow together smoothly, giving the impression of watching an energetic, action-focused cartoon.
Unique Gameplay Mechanic
The game’s approach to gameplay stands out thanks to its distinctive mechanics—setting it apart from other titles with mission variety you won’t find in the same way elsewhere.
Customizable Player Approach
You can adjust your character to match your play style. Build your loadout and movement choices so you can operate as one—coordinating efficiently in every firefight.
Tactical Resource Management
Beyond combat, you’ll also handle practical resource needs. Long-term survival requires careful planning, not just good aim.

Highlights
Arm your character with weapons
When you infiltrate the enemy’s base, you’re expected to equip gear like pistols, shotguns, grenades, and even flamethrowers. The arsenal draws on real-world-inspired weapon designs such as pistols, shotguns, UMP, M416, and AKM, plus more.
Sometimes you may have to fight without your gun—especially if you run out of ammo. If you win the fight, you can still collect what enemies drop. Since the battle area is built like a maze with many rooms, you’ll need to break doors to find out what’s ahead.
Bold pixel visuals and satisfying sound
The game uses a Pixel graphic style that feels both classic and modern. Movement is smoother than in many older pixel games, and the color palette is designed to look polished and inviting. On top of that, you’ll get realistic weapon sounds and fast-paced background music that keeps you pushing forward.
Lots of challenges as you go

Because you can’t always predict what’s behind a door, you must stay ready. Levels start more manageable and gradually ramp up in difficulty. As you go deeper, enemies become more dangerous.
Each opponent has a different fighting style—some are harder to take down quickly, while others can be neutralized fast if you choose the right approach. If you’re using a flamethrower, it’s tough for most enemies to stop you, though it’s a powerful tool that can be risky.
Useful Tips
- Shoot snitches to make them stop. Use a weaker weapon if you can.
- Explosive barrels can break locked doors. Sometimes the safest path is through the blast.
- Dogs are the fastest enemies and will bark when they’re alerted.
- Breacher is best for “clear hostiles” missions since there are 0 hostages—no collateral risk.
- Jump over bullets from the HP Rifle enemy before they reach you. Look for the green laser sight and jump quickly—timing is key.
- To make an enemy drop a human shield, back away and they’ll drop them so they can pursue you.
- Suicide-bombers can injure other enemies and may also be destroyed by other explosive sources.
- Detonator types can survive after being shot enough times. Watch for enemies who lie on their stomach with a finger on the trigger.
- If your strategy bar is maxed and you don’t need anything immediately, place a medkit in an area you’re likely to revisit. Extra HP can save you later.
- Armoured enemies follow you if you enter doors that lead up or down. Use that to gain an advantage and guide them into traps.
