Lawgivers II is a political simulation game focused on realistic governance. It includes a wide range of simulation systems that let you practice leadership across different political setups. Step into the shoes of an ambitious public figure and work your way toward becoming a respected politician and head of state.

Throughout your run, you’ll face frequent obstacles and the need to make tough calls. Build a capable management team to steer the country toward better outcomes. Every playthrough is also shaped by random events, which makes each attempt feel fresh and boosts replay value.

Take Part in Elections

Approve or Veto Bills

• Personalize bills and approve them step-by-step, article by article.
• Constitutional amendments let you influence the workflow of major national institutions.
• Choose freely whether a bill becomes part of the constitution or is approved as a regular law.

Government

• In presidential and semi-presidential republics, run for the highest office.
• In parliamentary republics, become prime minister.
• Form a government by yourself or through a coalition of parties.
• Deal with survival challenges, including motions of no confidence.
• If needed, you can bypass parliament—but be ready for the consequences.

Organisations and Lobbies

• Organisations and lobbies can heavily influence your country’s direction.
• Gain their support by hiring their representatives.
• Alternatively, pursue clean, honest politics and aim to serve the country in a more straightforward way.

Trade & War

• Every nation has something valuable—skills, raw materials, or even unusual goods.
• As head of government, travel to other countries and form strategic alliances to secure resources for your citizens.
• Spread your main ideology to influence nearby regions.
• You can also make drastic moves (“press the red button”)—but expect serious political backlash, including potential sanctions.
• War is possible, but it’s strongly discouraged, since the fallout can severely damage your economy.

Multiplayer

• Play with friends to form a coalition government.
• Or stay in opposition and prepare for your first opportunity to seize power.

Mods
