TNA Wrestling iMPACT Introduction
TNA Wrestling iMPACT Step into TNA Wrestling iMPACT, a fast wrestling action game for Android. Pick your character, fight worldwide, chain combos with smart button taps, and compete in tournaments to win rewards.
TNA Wrestling iMPACT
TNA Wrestling iMPACT is a wrestling-themed action game where you pick from a roster of distinctive characters and battle against players from around the world. By tapping the right buttons at the right moments, you can unleash eye-catching moves, chain combos, and defeat your opponents to earn rewards.

The game includes multiple modes—such as tournaments—each offering a slightly different way to play. If you’re ready to step into the ring, it’s time to become the kind of wrestler who can hang with the best.
Useful Tips for TNA Wrestling iMPACT
1) Adjust difficulty (especially vs. the computer). If you want matches to feel easier, open Options and change the difficulty to Backyard.

2) Use the in-game training videos. If you’re new or need a refresher, check Options → Training. The tutorial clips cover basic controls, how to perform submissions, and specific inputs for the Ultimate X match type. These tutorials aren’t required, but they’re helpful.
Understand the HUD and key meters
Take a moment to learn the on-screen information. The Impact meter you’ll see isn’t always essential, but it can matter for at least one achievement. As you score style points, the meter builds until it lights up and triggers a short audio cue—this lets you use your finisher.
Important: If your finisher is left at its default use, it may not work reliably unless the opponent’s damage level is deep in the red (commonly when it’s at about 3–4 segments). Otherwise, they can kick out with little trouble, and that kind of damage can take longer than submissions.
Also watch your opponent’s Impact, because their finishers can punish you. After you practice, the AI may struggle to land many moves—but if it does manage to pull off a finisher against you, escaping can be difficult.
Struggle gauge and stun behavior
When prompted, the game asks you to wiggle the left stick left/right to fill a struggle gauge. However, it can feel sluggish or unresponsive, so it’s not always worth relying on.

Below the Impact area, you’ll see your character name and a red gauge. This is one of the most important elements:

- It fills as you take damage.
- It fills for your opponent as you deal damage.
- When it fills completely, it triggers a stun, leaving the opponent helpless until the effect is cleared.
Again, the left-stick struggle mechanic can feel non-responsive. Still, if the AI is stunned, you can typically land hits on the target area without worrying about an immediate reversal.
Reversals (cn_RB timing)
You can reverse attacks using a press of cn_RB at the correct moment during an opponent’s attack.
- Light attacks (like kicks and punches): press just before the strike lands.
- More complex moves (such as suplexes and Irish Whips): press when the setup reaches its peak.
The HUD may display a cn_RB button prompt when reversal timing is available, but it doesn’t always work consistently. Sometimes repeated presses help, and other times they don’t. Many players feel this is a slightly unreliable mechanic, but the good news is it isn’t critical—once you’re comfortable, you can still do fine without it.
Player Comments
“TNA IMPACT!” goes straight at the competition with a strong focus on presentation and flair that makes it feel like a complete wrestling experience. The character models, animations, arenas, and color style come across well, delivering that “watching TNA at home” vibe. With entries from the 25 available wrestlers, the ring action stays energetic and includes both classic and more distinctive wrestling moves.
Movement around the ring generally feels solid, and it’s satisfying to discover new ways to wear down opponents. That said, a few issues show up as you play more. After you burn through your move variety, the gameplay can start to feel repetitive. Against the A.I., the challenge can also feel limited, with not much engagement from the computer. Overall, gameplay variety seems to hit a wall pretty quickly.
The story mode is a welcome addition because it lets you create your own wrestler, but customization options are restricted. You also can’t move your created wrestler into a quickplay ring, which limits how much you can use the character outside story progression.

Even with those drawbacks, “TNA IMPACT!” still has fun moments—especially when playing in a party setting. The ambition to build a strong wrestling game is clear, and it’s refreshing to see it try to stand apart from the usual franchise releases. Unfortunately, time and budget constraints seem to have impacted the final result, but the game does still deliver entertainment when the mood is right.
