Larva Heroes is an action-adventure game where you command adorable larvae to take on ruthless enemies. At the start, you can use the units you’ve unlocked, then collect resources to free even stronger units, upgrade your heroes, and push back against formidable foes. Complete battles, earn valuable rewards, and feel the satisfaction of victory as you advance through each level.

As you progress, more and more monsters pour in from every direction. To survive longer and score higher, you’ll need to plan how to deploy your different Zerg units. The game will keep receiving updates, introducing additional larva units and fresh events to keep things exciting.

Gameplay

Choose your hero

• At the beginning of the game, you can select from 6 main characters: Red, Yellow, Super Yellow, Brown Wizard, Black Knight, and Rainbow Warrior.
• Each character includes a status bar such as attack, defense, and health points.
• Upgrades are available so your characters can become stronger.

Select troops before the fight

• Early on, you can take 1 of the 6 troop slots to help you win.
• Troops can only be activated by collecting bread in the required amount.
• As levels increase, you’ll unlock additional troops with higher power, but you’ll also need more resources.

Win depends on your full lineup

• You may choose from the available characters, but mission success depends on all units you bring.
• Even if your hero can fight, you’ll still need extra support units to handle the enemy pressure at every stage.

Level up and manage your team

• You can upgrade your larvae by increasing level and improving their abilities.
• You also need to manage your hero group, which includes multiple characters from the Larva Heroes world.

Core objective

You must conquer and destroy zombie larvae headquarters by moving toward and holding the headquarters linked to the hero you are using. Be aware that the enemy headquarters has defenses that vary in strength depending on the level of resistance you face.

Story

Yellow and Red are two silly worms who live with their bug friends in a simple home, surrounded by the familiar sights of a city full of tall buildings. Even though the group mostly lives peacefully, Red is constantly picking on Yellow for no good reason—until everything changes.

One day, they spot a black hole opening nearby, and out comes a group of creatures nobody can describe. While everyone worries and tries to leave the house, Red keeps arguing and messing with Yellow. The creatures take over the place and force the pair out the window, sending them tumbling into a storm drain in the sewers.

They stay unconscious for a while—until three friends, Green, Brown, and Black, find them and scold them for their bad behavior, which has left them injured. Yellow, in particular, feels guilty, while Red remains stubborn. The five eventually reunite and promise to live together again in harmony.

Later, Yellow finally realizes they’re missing food and supplies. While searching for something to eat, he encounters three aggressive mummies from the villain group, who immediately try to attack. The starving worm finally snaps back—then Red and the others arrive, watch the fight, and draw inspiration. With renewed hope and determination, they prepare to push the enemies back.

• Every character has a unique look, special abilities, and a distinct fighting style—so unlocking and selecting new caterpillars brings new ways to play.

Upgrade heroes into stronger warriors

• To progress, you’ll actively battle through challenging missions.
• You earn gold to buy new weapons, plus loot and items dropped by enemies.
• You also gain experience points. Over time, these points raise your hero’s rank.
• The top tier is the Warrior rank—reaching it makes your caterpillar nearly invulnerable and ready for the toughest enemies.

Fight by combining skills and moves

Mastering each character takes a little time, since every caterpillar fights differently. Learn their style, practice their moves, and use their skills effectively to get the most out of their strengths.
