Useful Tips

• Knife is always equipped in Black Ops 6: Unlike older Call of Duty titles, your loadout includes a Knife by default. To use it, press and hold the Melee button; after a short moment, your weapon will switch to your Knife.
• Early rounds advantage: Up to round four, your melee weapon can kill zombies instantly. You’ll earn slightly less essence than a normal kill, but it can help you conserve ammo early on.
• Upgrade your Knife: Your Knife’s rarity can be improved at an Arsenal vending machine and also through pack-a-punch. With enough Essence, it can become a strong one-hit option in mid rounds. It’s especially effective against Manglers—with the right upgrades, you may bring one down after only a few melee attacks.
• Go for headshots: When possible, aim for headshots. They deliver critical kills, which also reward you with more Essences per kill.
• Pack-a-Punch refills ammo: Fully pack-a-punching a weapon restores its ammo. If you’re low, you may not need an ammo box—plan to pack-a-punch instead.
• Keep moving: Mobility is key. Don’t stay in one spot for too long, since zombies can spawn around you from multiple directions. Use your mini-map to spot stragglers that might flank you from behind during tight moments.
