Astreon Introduction

Astreon Astreon is a story-rich casual adventure on Android. As a retired soldier, search for your missing wife—uncover Masquerade conspiracies, deepen bonds, and let choices shape the journey.

Astreon

Astreon is a story-focused casual game set in a far-future world. You play as a retired soldier. One day, your wife vanishes—mysteriously—right as her research into a regeneration pill begins to reach its next stage. From that moment on, you’re pulled into a search that turns into a much larger mystery.

As you travel, you’ll meet a wide range of characters and get tangled in frightening incidents tied to Masquerade. With your companions by your side, you’ll push through each crisis, gather clues about where your wife went, and piece together what’s really behind her disappearance.

Along the way, you’ll also form strong emotional bonds with the people traveling with you. Your decisions can unlock new and exciting situations, so every playthrough has something to discover. Will you finally uncover the truth?

Developer Message — Version 0.4.5

And… greetings, my dear friends!

I have some not-so-good news. Version 0.4.5 is already finished. I could release it immediately, but I chose to hold it back a little to make sure everything is functioning properly. Also, due to deadlines, I had to wrap things up partway through—once again, I’m sorry.

So what’s the bad news, exactly?

There’s no sex. Literally, this update focused on other things: relationship development, deeper character work, and everything around that. There simply wasn’t room for it.

Yes, I could have added a random, out-of-place scene that doesn’t really fit—but I decided not to. If you were specifically waiting for that kind of content in the next update, then I’m sorry. Maybe later.

Now, about this update itself...

This continues Act 0.4, including the routes for Lora and Olivia. In particular, I concentrated on building the relationships between Kalestra and Miriel, and I also added a large amount of backstory and world lore.

I also kept the writing more minimal than usual, trying to communicate more through the renders rather than heavy text. Whether that worked as intended will be clear after release.

One thing I’m especially pleased with is the pacing. That was my biggest focus. There may still be a couple of moments where you might wonder, “why?”, but I plan to address those today or tomorrow.

After this update goes out, I’ll run another survey about it and then start work on the Clown Squad update. More on that later.

For now, one more addition: a new feature has been added to the game—Cheats! Yay!

Why? Sometimes saves vanish for different reasons, and replaying everything isn’t always fun. With cheats, you can enter a code to automatically unlock all content up to the latest update.

Emotionally, I also tried to aim for more than just lust this time. (Funny? Maybe. But I’m trying.)

That’s everything for now. Happy holidays, hugs, and see you soon!

Player Comments

  • Story (Overall): One of the best stories the reviewer has seen in any AVN, but they feel it’s held back by writing quality. They recommend it if you like character-driven plots with a flawed, vulnerable main character, or if you enjoy sci-fi settings.

  • Characters (10/10): Unique and attractive designs, though they can have a somewhat doll-like look typical of HS-style models. Each character has a clear backstory and a distinct personality, making them memorable. That said, many characters may fall for the main character rather quickly. The main character is praised as one of the few that shows genuine vulnerability instead of being overpowered—he isn’t a perfect “Marty Sue,” and he has to rely on others to succeed.

  • H-Scenes (9/10): The scenes benefit from HS’s strengths and are generally well executed, though the reviewer believes there’s room for improvement. Most scenes use one or two strong poses, but they could be longer and offer more variety to compete with the best HS AVNs. They also note that the first scene had the best animation quality, with a slight decline afterward, suggesting this may not be the developer’s top priority.

  • Story (10/10): The reviewer finds the storyline especially unique and engaging. They like the world-building and say the sci-fi theme adds extra intrigue. They also mention that some earlier criticisms didn’t feel clear to them—possibly due to revisions—because the story felt interesting and coherent. Their only minor note is that some wording may come across as a bit pretentious, and they feel character dynamics might be a little “janky,” but they had no trouble following what was happening. They also describe the game as having a lot of content, with generally solid renders and diverse characters.
