Anomaly Evolution Introduction
Anomaly Evolution Anomaly Evolution is a casual clicker strategy where you tap SCP-682 to produce cells. Consume them to evolve stats, unlock new generators and perks, fight hostile enemies, and keep upgrading toward powerful forms.
Anomaly Evolution
Anomaly Evolution is a casual strategy clicker where you uncover the full potential of SCP-682. Each time you tap SCP-682, it produces new cells. Consume those cells to strengthen SCP-682—improving its level, cell output, genes, damage, and more.

As your SCP-682 grows stronger, you can take on different enemies, collect rewarding loot, and keep pushing upgrades forward. Your ultimate goal is to evolve SCP-682 into increasingly powerful forms—possibly even an ancient god.

The game receives ongoing updates with additional SCP-682 forms and new gameplay features, so there’s always something new to look forward to.
How Gameplay Works
At its core, this is a clicker game. You repeatedly tap your creature to generate cells, which function as your main in-game currency.
Use your cells to unlock faster and larger ways to generate even more cells. This creates an endless loop of anomalous growth. You’ll also need to unlock additional features and upgrade types as you progress.
Current Upgrade Types
- Proteins: Increase the maximum capacity of your upgrades.
- Neurons: Multiply the number of cells gained per click.
- Genes: Raise the cell gain from clicking; more genes means more cells.
- Morphogens: Use neurons to generate more cells.
- Tissues: Each tissue acts as an auto-clicker.
- Enzymes: Increase your damage versus hostile Xenocytes.
- Evocytes: Special immortal cells you must TRASCEND.

Strategies for Anomaly Evolution
- Study enemy attack patterns: Every enemy has its own way of striking. Learn their behavior, then position and time your abilities accordingly.
- Stack passive perks: Mutations that boost critical damage, health regeneration, or dodge chance can swing fights in your favor during later stages.
- Use the terrain: Tight choke points, corners, and open areas can all be used strategically, depending on your anomaly’s strengths.
- Try PC Premium if available: The PC Premium version includes additional unlocked mutations and extra lore scenes for a deeper experience.
- Don’t skip story echoes: Hidden memory fragments expand the lore and can grant permanent bonuses in future runs.

Player Feedback
Some players describe the game as fairly straightforward. As an idle clicker, it may not feel like a full “4-star” experience, but it’s generally considered decent for the genre—better than many adult-themed idle games, though not always as strong as the best idle titles.
There are also critiques about its systems:
- Cells are the primary resource and are increased mainly through upgrades.
- Genes form a separate resource path that doesn’t interact with your cells directly.
- Neurons provide click multipliers, but they don’t increase passive generation and may even reduce your cell income over time. The game warns you before buying them, and while they’re manageable, going too far negative can make recovery difficult.
- Evocytes can be the most controversial system: more cells can lead to stronger enemy spawns, enemies drain cells over time (with stronger ones draining more), and defeating them grants evocytes. Enough evocytes let you prestige, but evocytes themselves don’t provide extra bonuses, and collecting more than needed for prestige can be wasted.
Other player advice emphasizes patience and planning:
- Don’t expect it to be instantly “perfect clicker” gameplay: it needs some time.
- It’s not necessarily your only game: focus on other activities for now, then return to buy upgrades after a while.
- Save up for tissues: many players suggest investing in upgrades that produce cells, adding tissues for automation, and also picking up genes and proteins.
- Experiment like a mad scientist: test progress, make decisions, then return to your routine—just don’t turn the game into your everyday schedule.
