Love Next Door Introduction
Love Next Door Move into a new apartment as a young vice president in Love Next Door. Face two alluring neighbors and choose your path through events that grow from wary to affectionate.
Love Next Door
Love Next Door is a story-focused casual game where you step into the life of a young, high-achieving vice president who’s just moved into a brand-new apartment—ready for a fresh start. But things get interesting fast when two captivating women live next door. What will you do when they’re suddenly part of your daily life?
Will you ignore what’s happening around you, or will you rely on your charm and quick thinking to win them over? The direction of the story is fully in your hands. Through a series of encounters and unfolding moments with both neighbors, your relationship with each woman will shift—starting from uncertainty and caution, eventually growing into comfort, familiarity, and deeper affection.
Features
- Realistic characters: The game presents well-developed characters that feel human and believable. Each person has a distinct personality, helping every interaction feel engaging and lively.
- Choice-driven storytelling: Your decisions shape the narrative. As the main character, you’ll be faced with key moments that influence how your relationships develop. Since choices carry consequences, the story stays tense and exciting.
- Beautiful visuals: Stunning graphics and carefully designed locations create an immersive atmosphere. Character designs are rendered with strong detail for a more lifelike experience.
- Romantic atmosphere: Built around themes of love and relationships, the game leans into unexpected meetings, meaningful conversations, and intimate moments as your journey unfolds.
- Relaxing gameplay: After a busy day, this game offers a calmer escape—settle in and enjoy a virtual romance story at your own pace.

What Makes Love Next Door Stand Out
- Relatable struggles: Clara’s anxiety about committing mirrors your own hesitation to settle down. Mia’s worry that she might be “too much” echoes how you’ve pushed others away before. Their vulnerabilities make them feel real—and easy to root for.
- Hidden stories: A box of Clara’s old love letters hints she used to write poetry. Meanwhile, Mia’s studio wall holds an unfinished portrait of a man who looks uncomfortably like your late father. These secrets add tension and leave you wondering what else is being kept from you.
- No guaranteed “perfect” route: Choosing Clara may lead to something warm and straightforward—but will you feel like you missed out? Picking Mia can bring excitement and joy, yet her restlessness may leave you feeling unsteady. Even choosing to stay single has its own ripple effects: Clara moves away, Mia takes a job overseas, and you’re left asking, “What if?”
- Emotional consequences: Your actions don’t just affect romance—they affect people. Miss Clara’s birthday dinner and she pulls back, taking Muffin (and all the baked goods) with her. Ignore Mia’s gallery opening and she’ll question whether you truly ever saw her. These moments hit hard because they feel earned.
- Growth through love: By the end, it’s not only about getting what you want—it’s about who you become. You might learn to slow down, communicate better, or let someone get closer. Instead of promising a perfect “happily ever after,” the game offers a richer life for taking the chance.
Changelog / Development Update

Hello! I hope your new year is off to a great start. Here’s an update on the game’s progress.
As of now, the game is estimated to be around 30% completed (128/414 tasks) based on task count. To clarify what the progress bars represent, here’s a breakdown of the task types:
Task Breakdown
- Renders: These are the images you see in-game. Each render takes at least an hour, and it may take longer depending on how complex the scene is. This is the most time-consuming task.
- Scenes: Before renders can be created, scenes must be built in a 3D program. This includes setting up environments, adding props, posing characters, setting expressions, and lighting. Scene creation takes the most effort.
- Coding: This covers programming work. It also includes post-processing renders and adding them into the game engine, which are generally simple and repetitive tasks.
- Writing: This includes dialogue and the story content you read during gameplay.
Based on this, the estimate for overall effort is closer to 50% complete for the work required across each task type.

On another note, a new $2 patron tier has been added. It’s for supporters who want to back the project without receiving extra perks. This tier includes access to patron-only posts (including this development log), which will be made private for non-patrons after this.

Please note: the game will be released to all tiers starting from Bronze.

Thank you for your support—your contributions make it possible for the developer to keep working on the game.
