Ragdoll Playground is a casual physics simulation where you design your own scenes your way. Mix and match materials to build structures, barriers, and obstacles—then add ragdoll characters and set the stage for mayhem. Once your setup is ready, you can use tools to break the structures apart or interfere with the ragdolls to vent stress.

As you keep playing, you unlock more tools and items. That means more options for how you build, more ways to experiment, and the ability to share your creations with the community. Other players can like and comment on your scenes.

Gameplay

Ragdoll Playground plays differently from Kick the Buddy, even though both deliver a similar “torture-screen” style vibe caused by ragdoll physics. The overall feel is private and distinct, with its own approach to experimentation.

You’re free to create both the look and the scenario you want. The number of dummies you can add depends on which characters you’ve unlocked. From the beginning, the basic inventory lets you place plenty of building options—blocks, houses, obstacles, stairs, and many other objects are all available.

Some of the best items require further progression, but even early on you can build imaginative setups. For example:

• Place two dummies at once.
• Add stairs so they can lean against them.
• Use a gun on the stairs and watch the dummies fall and tumble across the floor.

Or try something more chaotic—let pins drop onto the dummies, then pile on bricks heavy enough to make them collapse. Compared to Kick the Buddy, this game is bigger in scope and gives you far more freedom to build everything yourself, then experiment with different “methods” and outcomes.

One downside: if you prefer quick stress relief and don’t want to do much building, it can feel a bit time-consuming. But if you enjoy the creative side of designing scenarios, it’s a great fit.

Features

Unlock a wide set of resources

The game includes multiple ragdoll character styles, such as blue, red, white, and more. These aren’t limited to “one look”—you can customize them into different roles like doctors, soldiers, robots, and more.

To change appearances, you’ll use accessories such as pants, shirts, hats, weapons, equipment, armor, and additional gear. Your job is to combine everything into the characters you want.

Weapons are especially varied: knives, spears, hammers, swords, axes, bows, shotguns, rifles, sniper rifles, grenades, rockets, and more—an arsenal that rivals many shooting games.

There are also vehicles like trucks, cars, tanks, and more. And plenty of construction materials are free, including walls, stones, wood, sandbags, ladders, and additional resources.

Build plays from your imagination

With all those resources, it’s easy to create a battlefield. Many players build fortifications using walls and stones, set up military-style bases, then form “teams” with ragdoll soldiers.

From there, you can arm your soldiers, even have them use heavy vehicles like tanks. The result is a satisfying mix of chaos and creativity.

The game makes combat effects feel exciting—shooting, explosions, slashing, and more. The amount of violence is still up to you. If you prefer something less intense, create lighter scenarios instead. Either way, it’s a chance to bring your ideas to life right on your phone screen.

Endless interactions

Beyond the inventory, the game offers lots of interactivity. You can click to select objects and then drag them anywhere in the 2D environment.

You can also:

• Click to shoot
• Use fists
• Freeze, flip, and resize items
• Delete, duplicate, and more

During construction, you can wipe your scene and start over. Use the “Clean” option for that. If you want to combine multiple items into a group, select “Set Team.” Most interactive actions are easy to find using the clearly visible buttons in the left sidebar.
