Adastra

It starts in Rome, where you’re enjoying your study-abroad life and trying to settle in. Just when things start feeling normal, an alien abducts you. Before you can even understand what it wants, you’re already millions of miles from Earth—headed toward an empire you know nothing about.

From there, the atmosphere feels thick with traitors. Each turn of events makes you question the motives of the alien who took you in the first place: are they truly someone you can rely on?

Atmospheric Gameplay Experience

A Strange Awakening

On Earth, waking up to a sudden rumble is normal—but it would still be shocking if, instead of a harmless cat causing chaos, you woke to a real alien. This visitor isn’t from classic monster movies and isn’t anything like the terror from Dead Space. The humanoid wolf calls itself Amycus.

Amycus tries to reach you, but the abrupt darkness and disorientation of space make any conversation almost impossible.

Towards Nowhere

You come to aboard a spaceship, where a strange alien is attempting to help you handle an unexpected problem. Another Earthling then offers to take you home—and just like that, you fall asleep again.

After a brief argument on the ship, the Earthling finally reaches what they believe is their destination: the planet of Amycus. Then the situation takes an absurd turn—your arrival means being treated as Amycus’s pet.

Despite how unbelievable it all sounds, the protagonist agrees to help Amycus with a political power struggle, stepping into the role of his remarkably intelligent companion.

Romantic Package

On Amycus’s home world, the protagonist must learn to adapt—surviving the daily hardships that come with being part of the royal household. And even though this is a “pet” situation, the story includes romantic elements: for many characters, you may mean more than you think.

Notable Characters

  • Amycus — the protagonist’s kidnapper. He was once a prince on the protagonist’s original planet, and he’s still trouble wherever he goes.
  • Casius — a white wolf and Amycus’s brother. A contender for the throne—and the reason the hero was taken.
  • Cato — a battle-tested warrior. He’s a bit talkative, bears plenty of scars, and is surprisingly the gentlest wolf in the court.
  • Alexios — an anthropomorphic cat and Cassius’s pet. He arrived on the alien planet alone, but you might have a chance to become friends.
