How Gameplay Works

In StopotS, you’ll race the clock to be the first to complete all categories. Choose from a variety of themed lists such as “Names,” “Animals,” and “Objects.” The variety keeps each match fresh and challenges your knowledge across different topics.

At the start of every round, the game assigns a random letter. This adds unpredictability and encourages you to think up creative answers that still fit the prompt.

Voting Phase (Where Competition Gets Real)

After you finish all categories, tap the “STOP” button to move to the voting stage. This is the moment where the game’s online competitive side really stands out.

During voting, players review each other’s entries and decide what counts. Answers that fit the rules score points, while duplicate or incorrect responses earn less—or may receive no points at all. It’s not only strategic, but also a lot of fun: you’ll get to see the quirky and imaginative ideas other players come up with.

• Majority — Stop when most players press STOP
• Host — Only the host can press STOP
• Disabled — No one can press STOP

• Slower — Take your time and enjoy the answers

3. NEW CATEGORIES

• We expanded the categories list—stay sharp, because there’s always something new to try.

4. AFK MODE

• We don’t want idle players to disrupt the game. If a player stays inactive for too long, loses connection, accidentally closes the app, or enters “away mode,” their actions won’t be counted.
• Example: if all active players have already validated their answers and only a disconnected player remains, the voting phase will continue automatically without waiting for them to reconnect.
• Note: Away players still get a short window to reconnect and return before they’re fully removed from the round.

ANIMATED STICKERS

• Use animated stickers to keep chat entertaining—there’s one for every situation.
