Helpful Tips

In Main Quest mode, every time you advance through levels and defeat bosses, you’ll earn upgrade shards and gold. Use them at the in-game forge or the black market.

Like the Mega Man series, you can obtain new weapons and armor after defeating bosses. Each weapon type performs differently, so choose based on your style.

At the start, you’ll be given a heavy great axe that hits hard but swings slowly—ideal for massive damage. Very quickly, you may want to switch to a faster setup, such as the shield + axe combination.

Moves & combos: depending on your weapon, you can perform a variety of special moves and combo strings. These are triggered with:

• B button – light attack
• A button – heavy attack

You can also rely on standard dodge and block actions, lock onto enemies, and reposition around them (weak foes won’t last long once you get the timing right). You can even activate a short berserk mode using the right shoulder button. Berserk energy builds by successfully attacking enemies.
