Story

Kaito (default name) is a warrior from Willsdrey Village. One day, he wakes up to find that his childhood friend, Sara, has come to his room. The two head to the village Elder to discuss how to stop Undead Leader Drakkar and his army. Mage Satomi joins the meeting as well.

Afterward, the Elder sends the three of them toward the Elf Kingdom carrying a valuable item, the Amulet of Tempus, to seek the help of the Elf Queen. Before they depart, the Elder gives Kaito a Sack of Herbs to help them stay safe on the journey.

Camp Night 1: While camping, Kaito hears music coming from the woods. He goes alone and finds Mai, a nymph, along with Toshiko (mother and daughter). After learning their situation and helping them, Kaito returns to camp.

Morning 2: The group is ambushed by Feline Thief Aria, who steals the Amulet of Tempus. Kaito chases her, and during the struggle Aria’s scent draws attention—then Sara arrives to rescue Kaito and retrieve what was taken.

Night 2: Satomi and Kaito go into the woods to gather herbs. When Kaito accidentally touches a mushroom, a pink Pixie named Reika appears and complains that they’re disturbing her. Once the situation is settled, the two return to camp—only to find it under attack by a group of vampires. Kaito pursues Vampiress Laura and saves Sara from danger.

Day 3: As the trio nears the Elf Kingdom, they disturb the guards. The guards bring them before the Elf Queen. Kaito attempts to trade the Amulet of Tempus for her assistance, but the Queen sees the offer as insulting and destroys the treasure. A furious clash follows between Kaito’s group and the guards. Kaito tries to strike at the Queen, but is instead captured by her. Afterward, the Queen admits she admires his courage and promises to help.

Eventually, the three are released by the Elf Kingdom, and they obtain the Lightbringer, powerful enough to defeat Drakkar. With the threat handled, they return home to praise from the Elder and a celebratory night. Late that evening, Kaito heads back to his room exhausted—only for Sara to come again to thank him for saving both her and the village.

When Kaito wakes up, he finds himself back in his own room at home. It turns out everything was only a dream—because he’d become addicted to a game called Last Quest.
