Characters: Mothers

The “Mothers” (mature women) are the older characters you can romance. As their name implies, they are mothers—and your attitude toward their children strongly influences your relationship with them, as well as any future romantic developments.

Characters: Daughters

The “Daughters” are the younger female characters you can romance. Each girl has her own personality traits and responds differently to your character. Characters are split into two age groups: young and older.

Difficulty

Choose between three difficulty modes: Easy, Normal, and Hard. Difficulty doesn’t change the game content—only your experience. Its main effect is on affinity and personality masks.

Affinity

The affinity system tracks how strong your interaction level is with each character. Affinity goes up or down mainly based on what you do and how you interact. Since characters may speak with each other, your behavior in public areas can also impact affinity.

Personality

Character personality works like a points system with a maximum limit that reflects your attitude toward that character. You can take one of three stances: “Mr. Nice Guy,” “Bad Boy,” or “Neutral.” Setting a limit ensures your attitude choices lead to real, noticeable results (with consequences).

Smartphone

Your smartphone is used to view in-game information, such as relationship statistics (not including calls and texts). You can access it during the selection screen and during free-roaming events, as long as the phone hasn’t been lost, stolen, or damaged.

Collectibles

There are two collectible types: unlockable items and underwear. Items can be picked up or handed to you by characters. How important they are depends on which type they belong to.

Closer Observation

The “Closer Observation” option lets you examine characters more closely—or focus on a specific area. However, there’s a risk of getting noticed, which may affect your affinity.
