Playable Character Classes

At the start of The Wild Darkness, you’ll choose from several warrior classes. Beginners should note: early on, the only fully available option is the Adventurer with basic stats. As you advance and complete specific achievements or challenges, additional classes become available to start with.

• Barbarians – Excel at brute-force combat with heavy-hitting attacks. However, they’re less able to survive multiple enemy strikes due to limited defense.
• Wizards – Known for powerful magical abilities that can devastate enemies with major effects and debuffs. Their downside: they’re relatively weak in close-range fights (squishy in melee).
• Warriors – Built for close-quarters fighting, offering sturdier defenses thanks to added armor/defense traits. They can stick in melee longer, but low mobility can become a problem when surrounded.
• Hunters – Strong at ranged combat, using distance weapons to defeat enemies while using quick movement to stay safer.
• Assassins – Master the fast, surgical style of combat, using powerful attacks to quickly remove key targets and then disengage. Their stealthy, agile movement supports an exciting combat flow.
• Blacksmiths – Focus on crafting higher-tier items, giving you advantages that help you build better gear.



• Divine Warriors – Unlocked only after completing the game’s ultimate in-game challenges. Choose the heroes you’re meant to be and become a champion summoned to save the lands.
