Gameplay

Each new day is shown through a handwritten diary. You’ll see important calculations such as meals, drinks, and general supplies, helping you understand:

• how much food you have left
• what you should do next
• how to divide responsibilities and manage food/drink amounts among family members

At some point, extra furniture and stored resources will run low. As the household leader, you’ll need to send someone to the surface to look for food. Everything you gather—and every person you bring back—directly affects whether your family can keep surviving.

Every decision matters. On any given day, an unexpected situation may appear involving one or more family members. You can’t predict where the story will go ahead of time, and your choices determine the direction it takes. Move carefully—one wrong action can change everything.

In the first 60 seconds after going into the basement, you can control character movement. After that, the diary becomes your main source of information: daily calculations, item handling, what happens during the day, and your decisions for each family member when incidents occur. This approach demands high focus, but it can also feel restrictive.

The game includes many tense scenarios where there isn’t a “safe” solution—no matter what you do, you’ll likely have to deal with consequences. There are few explicit instructions and almost no hints. Instead, players must figure out the underlying logic and predict results.
