Alexis Side Story (January 2025 Update)

Hello everyone! The January update is live, bringing Alexis’s canon side story: “A Day in the Life of Alexis”.

New Content:

• Over 400 new images that expand Alexis’s canon storyline through “A Day in the Life of Alexis.”

Minor Changes:

• Side stories are now clearly separated into canon and non-canon entries.
• When you tap the top-level side story button, an extra menu appears to make it easier to identify what kind of content you’re opening.
• Clarification: Canon side stories connect directly to the main story. Non-canon stories are off to the side and not tied to the main plot.
• Important: After these adjustments, the new side stories will show up under the “Canon Stories” section after you select “Side Stories.”

I understand this situation can be confusing, which is why I included the warnings and full disclosure at the beginning of the game. I’m also looking forward to continuing development of Chapter 1, planned for release sometime between mid-March and mid-April 2023.

Major Changes

• Previously, there were : a Patreon restricted version and a SubscribeStar unrestricted version. This has been streamlined.
• From now on, all versions share the same password: “cara”.
• If the password is entered incorrectly—or if it’s unknown—the game will automatically fall back to the restricted version.
• This change reduces upload time and makes it easier to keep track of future releases on my side.

Questionnaire improvements:

• The questionnaire now shows each question alongside its options, which speeds up completion.
• The font size for questions has been increased.

Prologue

• Fixed a visual problem in the scene where Cara first meets Tristan.
• Updated dialogue related to “Happy Place” so it properly checks the Habit condition in the affected areas.

• Fixed an issue where “Help with the Laundry” could appear repeatedly during free exploration of the laundry room.

E1P2

• Corrected missing visual effects in multiple scenes (for example, when David invites Cara to his house).
• Attempted fixes for visual effects in the squash sequence.
• Fixed a bug where Tiffany’s diary entries sometimes stayed marked as unread even after you read them.
• If Cara declines the squash event, the game will now skip the event correctly.

Natalie Phone Sequence

• Natalie’s phone conversation and the following profile image sequence will no longer trigger on Day 5 when Cara is using her phone, as long as Poloson is not in the hospital (i.e., not assaulted).
