Gameplay & Plot

This game draws inspiration from classic horror and weird fiction, including the works of E. A. Poe, H. P. Lovecraft (yes, really), and the cult adult horror visual novel Divi Dead.

Our story begins in 1985. The main character is a young man starting his new life as a student at prestigious Willowtown University, located on the island—alongside his two best friends.

It’s also a homecoming of sorts. He left the island as a kid with his mother, but he doesn’t remember much from that early chapter.

With nightmares haunting him and ominous presences surrounding his friends and him, what happens next depends on the decisions you make.

Author’s Note

We’re a two-person development team: DeVNCraft handling programming, and LoVNCraft taking care of story and visuals. We didn’t start out with visual-novel experience, but we’ve been devoted to games for our entire lives—and we also bring additional experience from our specific area of this project.

What we’re building is a story-forward adult game featuring horror, mystery, thriller, and science-fiction elements. And yes—the reason you’re here is included.

The narrative comes first, but we’ll be sure there’s plenty of content for those who came for it too. The goal is to strike the right balance, so the game doesn’t feel like an endless adult reel—there’s already enough of that online.
