Key Features of KineMaster - Video Editor

Powerful Editing Tools
Use a comprehensive set of editing tools to customize every part of your video. You get full control for detailed edits—such as trimming and cutting—as well as adjustments like brightness, saturation, and contrast.
Voiceover and Audio Editing
- Record voiceovers directly inside KineMaster, without needing separate recording software.
- Improve sound quality by tweaking audio settings.
- Add sound effects and reduce background noise for cleaner audio.
Effects

You’ll find effects in many video editors, but KineMaster stands out with a large selection of newer effects you may not see in other apps. Many effects are available through the Asset Store, including unique packs that help your video feel more original.
Video Background Remove

One of the newest updates, Video Background Remove, makes it easy to remove the background from any video. The background doesn’t have to be green—KineMaster can remove a variety of background types. After removing it, you can add a new background based on what you want.
Transitions

Transitions are common in video editors, but KineMaster includes many additional transition options and lets you preview how they look in your timeline. You can also browse more transitions from Assist Store and apply them to make your edits more engaging.

Ready-Made Templates and KineCloud
Thousands of templates help you publish quickly for Reels, Shorts, and stories. Choose a vertical or horizontal layout, add your clips and text, then adjust fonts or colors to match your style. With Mix mode, you can share templates with the community and explore new looks without starting from zero.
New users can move faster with KineMaster templates, while KineCloud backs up projects to the cloud for added safety. To begin, tap Create > Create New on the home screen, then select an aspect ratio to open a full-screen timeline. If you switch devices later, cloud backups make it easier to continue editing without searching for files.
Asset Store for Effects and Music
The Asset Store includes effects, transitions, stickers, fonts, music, SFX, stock videos and images, and color filters. This makes it easier to match a brand style or the mood of an event edit. Many packs are designed to be quick to use (plug-and-play), which helps when you’re working under tight deadlines.
The Asset Store also supports practical editing tasks. For example, you can blur sensitive details using Gaussian Blur or Mosaic, then resize the blur area over faces or plates. Transitions are also straightforward: zoom to the timeline, tap the area between clips, pick an effect, and set the duration. If an effect doesn’t work for your scene, choose None to remove it cleanly.
4K Export and Smooth Workflow
Exports can reach 4K at 60FPS, with options such as transparent background video, animated GIF output, and platform-friendly social presets that optimize resolution and bitrate. Editing stays organized thanks to multi-layer support, undo/redo, magnetic guides, and a full-screen timeline with preview. You can create both vertical and horizontal projects from start to finish.
Keep in mind: KineMaster can support up to 4K 60FPS on capable devices, but extremely high resolutions or many layers may slow down lower-end phones. If performance drops, try exporting drafts at a lower resolution, then render the final version at 4K. For long edits, consider splitting them into shorter sections. Also note that free exports include a watermark, while a subscription unlocks advanced features and additional assets.
Precise Timeline Editing and Keyframes
Use trim, split, and speed controls for accurate timing. Slow motion, fast motion, and reverse effects are great for sports highlights and creative reels. With keyframe animation, you can move and scale elements smoothly, making text and stickers feel more alive instead of fixed in place.
Keyframe animation in KineMaster gives you fine control over motion—so elements like lower-thirds and logos can slide in at exactly the right frame. Features like Chroma Key help remove green-screen backgrounds (the text in the original source appears truncated here).
