WiFi Direct Introduction
WiFi Direct WiFi Direct is a lightweight Android file-sharing app that turns one device into a Wi‑Fi hotspot for quick, cable-free transfers. Share photos and large files securely with fast speeds and parallel sending.
WiFi Direct
WiFi Direct is a smart tool for remote work and quick file sharing. It lets you transfer files between two devices by turning one device into a wireless access point—so sharing is fast, simple, and convenient.
With WiFi Direct, you get a lightweight yet powerful file-sharing experience, including ultra-fast transfer speeds and parallel file transfers. These features make it easier to manage multiple tasks at once, while also reducing the risk of unauthorized access and information theft.

Awesome Performance
Share Photos Quickly
If you frequently send images—or capture large batches of photos—moving them between devices is a must. WiFi Direct+ is a great option when you want to share your favorite pictures without losing quality.
You can send huge photo sets (even thousands of images from a computer to a phone) without hassle. Use it to:
- Share photos with friends
- Send image products to buyers
- Work on image projects without USB drives or cables
And with WiFi Direct+ MOD APK, you can transfer your favorite images to all devices within range while keeping high image quality.
Supports Most File Formats
One standout feature of WiFi Direct+ is its minimal limits on file types. Even large and complex files can be moved smoothly and quickly between devices.
No matter the file format or size, the flow is simple: you tap once, and the file appears on the other device’s screen.
You can also share and enjoy a wide range of content, such as:
- TV shows
- Audiobooks
- Video games
- Playlists

It helps you share what you love without spending time searching or downloading. Best of all, it’s free while still delivering excellent results.
Wonderful Features
Bluetooth and WiFi Direct+ follow a similar idea: connecting two devices to transfer files. One device acts as the sender and the other as the receiver. The key difference is speed—WiFi Direct+ is designed to transfer data much faster.
It can also be more secure than Bluetooth in practice. With Bluetooth sharing, some private information may be exposed, and intercepted data can create serious problems.

Fast Transfers (With a Few Setup Notes)
WiFi Direct+ is known for quick data transfer. However, connecting two devices may take a moment, and you might occasionally need to restart Wi‑Fi—especially during early setup.
You can also upgrade to the pro version of WiFi Direct+ to remove ads and get even faster transfers.

“A little janky but works great.” I bought a new phone last year. Since then, my hotspot doesn’t work with my very old Kindle HDX (it only supports older wireless standards). That makes it annoying to get new books during road trips. On my phone, Wi‑Fi Direct isn’t enabled for file sharing, and Bluetooth isn’t enabled on the HDX (Lineage OS is experimental), so I ran out of options. This app fixed it and gave me a lifeline on the go.

“250Mbps now.” Before this app, one of my devices didn’t have Wi‑Fi Direct built in, so I had to rely on Bluetooth file sharing at around 160 Kbps. After installing this app on both devices, I can share files at about 250 Mbps—nearly 2,000× faster. Thanks for making it easier!

“Tap Select Files or Select Folder.” The app does a great job connecting to Wi‑Fi Direct. To ensure files send or receive quickly, make sure Airplane mode is off and Wi‑Fi is turned on. I couldn’t get the “HiFi | WiFi Direct File Share” app working on one of my Pie devices, but WiFi Direct+ worked well. Just tap Select Files or Select Folder, then follow the on-screen steps—double-tap a folder to select it.

Fantastic Characteristics
Before transferring data with WiFi Direct+, users choose which device will send and which will receive. This makes setup clearer and helps prevent confusion or mistakes when sharing files wirelessly.
With this setup, two smartphones or connected computers can access the connection directly and share data—often faster than relying on slow update downloads through a web browser.
For best results:
- The sending device must correctly identify the file/data type.
- The receiving device should be close to the sender for faster transfers.
- Keep both devices available and make sure WiFi Direct+ is installed.
- Make sure the connection is active so you can quickly transfer files without extra setup.
If you ever run into problems, these checks typically help you resolve the issue and get transfers working smoothly.
