Hoop Introduction

Hoop Hoop is a global social app for meeting like-minded people. Complete your profile, browse millions of profiles, send friend requests, chat via text/voice/video, and earn diamonds through fun rewards.

Hoop

Hoop helps you meet new friends from around the world. After you finish setting up your profile, you can browse other users’ profiles, send friend requests to the people you’re interested in, and interact with them through text, voice, and video. It’s designed to bring you closer to others and connect you with people who share your interests.

Hoop

You can also earn diamonds by doing daily check-ins, watching videos, or purchasing items. Use those diamonds to send even more friend requests—giving you more chances to meet new people. Hoop is regularly updated with new fun features, while also working to protect your privacy and chat history.

Customizable Connections

Hoop

See someone you like? Send them a friend request. Hoop lets you control who can connect with you, so you stay in charge of what you share and with whom.

Diamond Rewards System

Earning diamonds is meant to feel rewarding. Collect them by checking in daily, sharing your profile (with a double reward on Sundays), or by leveling up. If you want a faster boost, you can watch a short video or buy a diamond pack.

Hoop

Global Friend Search

Browse millions of profiles—either near you or all over the globe. You can filter results by location, or take a chance and meet someone from a place you’ve never visited.

User Reviews of Hoop

  • “It’s really fun to jump on and see who’s online.” Some users can be strange, but there are also genuinely great conversations—plus it’s been a way to practice my high school French. Signing up is easy, and the app is a good way to pass the time when you’re bored.

  • “Great app, but not fully built for dating.” It would be better with a location indicator so you can quickly see where someone is. Also, the free version should show profile details like zodiac sign.

  • “Cool for making friends worldwide.” There are some weird accounts, including people who claim to be young but appear much older. Still, overall it’s a great place to meet people in your state or around the world—just be careful.

  • “Fun app—somewhere between chat and dating.” It works for meeting all kinds of people, but you may not want to use it when you’re out, because you never know what you’ll run into. Still, it’s a nice way to spend time and meet people globally.

  • “I use it to chat with people from other countries.” It’s surprising how quickly you can talk to someone in Rome, Paris, or Bangkok while you’re in bed in New York. Yes, there are occasional odd users, but I’ve had some really great chats—and sometimes I use it to practice French and Spanish.

FAQs of Hoop

What is the “Discover” section on my home screen?

Discover is your place for finding new friends. It’s where you can browse other users’ profiles, explore what people are into, and send a friend request when you find someone who interests you.

What is the “Requests” section on my home screen?

Requests is where you’ll see incoming friend requests. Think of it as your inbox—each new request could lead to a new connection. You can accept, reject, or decide later.

Where can I see my friends in Hoop?

To view your friends, tap the icon in the top-right corner and open your friend list. That’s where you can see who’s in your circle.

What’s that small photo next to people’s profiles?

That picture is their Daily Photo—a selfie or image they posted for the day. If you want to join in, go to Challenges and tap the “Daily Photo” challenge. Post your selfie to be featured next to your profile.

I got an error when adding my photos. What should I do?

No worries—let’s improve your photo submission. Your first photo should be clearly about you: show your face clearly, with no phone or flash blocking it. Keep the photo upright, avoid filters or text, and don’t include children in the frame. If it still doesn’t work, try another image.

If you’re still stuck, contact support from inside the app and show them a video of what’s happening. They’re there to help.
