Summoner’s Greed Introduction

Summoner’s Greed Summoner’s Greed is a strategic tower defense where you place summons to stop waves from touching the treasure chest. Earn orbs and coins, build varied lineups, and outsmart enemies in PvE and PvP.

Summoner’s Greed

Summoner’s Greed is a tower defense game where you summon units to hold back relentless enemy waves. Your mission is simple but unforgiving: guard the treasure chest. If any enemy reaches it, the run is over and you’ll have to try again.

The game uses two currenciesorbs and coins—and each one serves a different purpose. Orbs help you summon and unlock new creature types, while coins are used to upgrade your existing summons. If you attempt a level with only one kind of summon, you’ll quickly find it’s extremely difficult. Success depends on where you place summons and how many of each you bring, using different roles to strengthen your overall fighting power.

Controls

The controls follow the usual tower-defense pattern. You place summons in strategic spots across the battlefield so they can attack enemies as they advance.

Important: even one enemy that makes it to the treasure chest means instant failure. When that happens, you must restart from the previous wave.

Currencies & Progress

  • Orbs: used to summon and unlock different creature types that defend your treasure. You earn orbs by completing levels.
  • Summoner’s Greed

  • Coins: used to upgrade your creatures. You earn coins by defeating enemies.

Reviews

“Great experience.” Many people claim the game requires no strategy, but that doesn’t match my experience. I was stuck on a level for a while, then changed my approach and cleared it successfully. I also like that the game doesn’t drown you in ads. There are lots of monsters to collect, you can upgrade them, and you can even collect more copies of the same monster card to make them stronger. It also has a world mode. Overall: super fun.

“Worth the money.” I’ve been playing for around seven years. It’s a solid way to pass time, but it’s also an excellent strategy-focused tower defense game. Without the $2.99 double speed boost, each level can take two to three hours, which is a bit disappointing. After buying the boost, each map takes about an hour, and I’ve been able to evolve monsters and gain event monsters using summoning stones without spending any extra money. Definitely worth it.

“Amazing, but tough for beginners.” The game is truly great and ranks among the best tower defense titles. My main issue is the difficulty for new players. I played about a year ago and found it fun and straightforward, but the maps were already challenging. When I returned recently and resumed my progress, everything felt much harder. The “Snow Queen Storm” map is currently the toughest, and I really wish the game let players jump straight to Nightmare difficulty instead of forcing “Snow Queen Storm” first.

“AFK rewards didn’t come through.” I used to play, but I couldn’t find my old account so I started fresh. The only problem was that I didn’t receive the AFK rewards overnight, and when I logged in, it looked like they had already been claimed.

Conclusion

Summoner’s Greed delivers a strong audiovisual experience that fits perfectly with its engaging gameplay. You’ll see cheerful, vibrant 2D visuals that mix fantasy and humor, with a wide variety of well-designed environments and characters. The magical effects look fantastic, and the music and sound effects help pull you even deeper into the action.
