About

atvTools is an Android application created by tvDev to simplify how you manage Android TV devices from your phone. To make full use of its features, you’ll need to enable USB debugging or Network debugging on your Android TV.

Please keep in mind that some capabilities may differ depending on your TV model and compatibility.

With atvTools, you can install apps from your phone to your TV, control TV applications (such as opening, uninstalling, or disabling/enabling), manage app permissions, and use a built-in File Manager. The app also supports screenshots, file transfers, and remote control features including a remote mode and a virtual mouse.

Manage Android TV and Google TV

atvTools makes it easy to handle both Android TV and Google TV. After the connection is set up, you can quickly perform actions like launching an app, uninstalling it, or disabling and re-enabling apps directly from your phone.

Integrated remote mode and virtual mouse

atvTools includes both a remote mode and a virtual mouse to make controlling your Android TV more convenient.

In remote mode, you can navigate and select apps, adjust volume, and enter information quickly—great when you don’t have a remote nearby or want faster control.

The virtual mouse lets you move a cursor on the TV screen similarly to how you’d use a computer mouse. This is especially helpful for selecting small elements, typing text, or accessing apps that are harder to operate with a traditional remote.

The file manager also supports sending files quickly from your iPhone to your TV. You can select multiple files at once to save time. If you want to check storage, the app clearly shows free and used memory details.

The file management screen is designed to be simple and beginner-friendly, with optimized actions so you can manage TV files quickly, conveniently, and safely.

Notes when using the application

• Before you start: enable USB debugging or network debugging on your Android TV. Without debugging enabled, atvTools can’t connect properly.
• Permission limits: if your TV blocks access, features like screenshots or screen recording may not work.
• Check your connection: make sure your iOS device and TV are on the same stable Wi‑Fi network, and verify the TV permissions when prompted.
• Be careful with advanced actions: when using Shell commands or deep system controls, proceed carefully to avoid disrupting normal TV operation. Use powerful management options responsibly.
• For best results: update the app regularly when new versions are released.
