TaiChi 14.0.6 Introduction

TaiChi 14.0.6 TaiChi 14.0.6 is a Chinese-inspired Android tools app that helps you tweak device and preinstalled apps without root, clear unwanted storage, and use framework options for easy modifications.

TaiChi (also known as Exposed in earlier versions) is an Android app you can install on smart devices. It’s developed by Weishu, the same creator behind VirtualXposed, a project designed to run apps inside a virtual environment.

The main idea of this project is to let users use Xposed Modules on non-root devices. In practice, it has worked—though with limitations—mainly with modules that don’t modify system components. The project gained a number of users, especially in China.

Weishu later continued the work under another name, Exposed, and eventually renamed it to TaiChi. The developer also changed the in-app wording to Chinese, with the belief that the name reflects Chinese culture and helps improve the app.

Features

  • Easy to Use: A simple tool for adjusting different parts of your device and handling modifications to pre-installed apps.
  • No Root Required: You can use TaiChi without rooting. It’s designed to work on both embedded and non-rooted setups.
  • TaiChi 14.0.6

  • Protect Your Data: The app focuses on privacy and won’t interfere with your data while you use its functions.
  • Clear Unwanted Storage: Remove unwanted applications, delete system apps and junk files, and clear cached data for installed apps.
  • Free Frameworks: Access a large collection of frameworks and use them to enable easier “hacks” within the tool.

How to Use

In general, TaiChi works in non-root mode. Install the TaiChi APK first, and you’re ready to start.

If you want to use an Xposed module—for example, SnapFreedom for Snapchat—follow these steps:

  • On the main screen, tap the floating button.
  • Select Create App.
  • Choose the app you want to apply the module to (e.g., Snapchat).
  • Tap the Create button at the bottom and wait for the process to complete.
  • After creation finishes, TaiChi will prompt you to uninstall the original Snapchat. Remove it, because TaiChi in non-root mode needs to modify the target APK and then re-sign it.
  • Continue following the instructions inside TaiChi until you install the re-signed version.
  • Open Module Manage by tapping Module Manager from the floating button on the Home page.
  • Find and enable the SnapFreedom module.
  • Force-close (kill) the Snapchat process. The Xposed module should start working properly afterward.
  • A system reboot is not required.
