FAQs

Do I need a plastic card? Can I retrieve a lost card?

After signing in to the official Lotte Hotel website or logging in through the mobile app, you can use a mobile card. You can also save the card image before using it.

Path: Login > My Account > Click on Barcode > Save Card Image

When you use the membership during your stay, your membership details can be used to earn points—so carrying a plastic card is not required.

How is the membership level determined?

There are four membership tiers: Regular, Silver, Gold, and Platinum. After your first stay, you start at Regular.

Your tier is reviewed and updated based on your annual usage performance (including checkout frequency) from January 1 to December 31 of the previous year.

• Upgrades: shown on the 10th of each month (once per month).
• Maintenance/Downgrades: shown in the first week of January each year (once per year).

How do “esteemed member” points accumulate?

After each hotel stay, members earn points based on the room rate and dining expenses paid to the hotel. Taxes and service charges are excluded, and this applies only to dining facilities directly managed by the LOTTE Hotels & Resorts Group.

Depending on your membership tier, points are awarded at 4%–10% of the eligible payment amount.

What is the maximum number of rooms eligible for points?

On check-in day, members can earn points for up to three room fees on the same day. However:

• All rooms must be booked under the member’s name.
• The member must be the person checking in.
• All room fees must be paid in full upon check-out.

Point eligibility for level determination is based on factors such as the number of days stayed, how often you consume, and the room fee amount.

Where can I use points?

• At hotel check-in and during room upgrades, points can be deducted to settle room and restaurant charges.
• If you have 10,000+ points, you can use them at Lotte Duty Free in Korea.

Note: Duty-free redemption applies to selected brands and products and excludes online duty-free shops. Point values may change depending on the duty-free shop situation—please confirm directly with the store where you plan to use points/vouchers.

Do I need a voucher to purchase items at a duty-free shop?

Starting from 10,000 points, you can either:

• Deduct points at duty-free shops, or
• Use vouchers.

When deducting points, check the VIP member account. If the member name matches the outbound traveler’s name, points can be used.

For vouchers (gifts), the outbound traveler’s name must be registered in advance. You can do this by selecting E-CERTI, entering the barcode number, and running the query.

I want member-targeted product promotions and special price guides—can I receive them?

Member-only offers, discounts, promotions, and similar content are sent only to members who agree to receive marketing information. Delivery may be via text message or email.

If you don’t want to receive marketing messages, go to: Official Website > My Page > Change Member Information > Check “Agree to Receive Information” to enable the option for promotional updates.
