Shadow of Death is an action RPG where you step into the role of a descendant of one of the kingdom’s twelve legendary warriors. Your mission is to rescue the realm from a terrifying reality: a landscape of half-human, half-demon devastation. As you travel, you’ll face all kinds of monsters—then rely on powerful weapons, protective armor, and skillful movement to take them down and collect valuable rewards. With every reward, you can craft even stronger gear and further improve your abilities.

Weapons and armor are organized into multiple tiers, and each tier grants extra bonuses along with special effects. As your hero grows in level, you’ll unlock more skills, opening the door to creative combinations and distinct combat sequences. The game also features a friendly rewards system—daily tasks and achievements can net you rewards regularly, making progression feel smoother.

Story: Shadow of Death

The tale begins in City of Life, where King Owen built and ruled his kingdom. A royal society was also formed to preserve and advance ancient disciplines such as Magic, Art, Alchemy, Astrology, and Medicine. These teachings helped King Owen forge one of history’s strongest empires.

Then came the reign of King Owen XIII. Driven by a desire to keep that empire at its peak forever, he chased dark magic in search of immortality. Secret experiments followed, and after many failed attempts, he finally produced a powerful “elixir.”

But the tragedy didn’t end there. The elixir’s side effects spread—those who drank it were twisted into beings that were part human and part monster. Their minds faded, replaced by bloodlust. Over time, the kingdom slid into one of the darkest eras in human history. Death struck again and again, and even nature was ruined: animals and plants mutated due to waste from the laboratories, and whole regions were left in ruin.

Alex—a descendant of one of the twelve warriors under King Owen I—sets out on a journey to bring the kingdom back from the edge.

Useful Tips

Go for Three-Star Wins

Each time you finish a mission, you receive a star rating based on how many objectives you completed. Earn three stars to unlock bonus rewards that help you progress faster.

Downside: you can’t see the specific objectives you must complete until the level is over. In most cases, objectives involve defeating all enemies quickly and doing it without taking hits.

Spend Souls on Equipment Upgrades

• Equipment upgrades are relatively inexpensive, so there’s little reason not to upgrade gear up to +20.
• You earn plenty of souls during stages, so if you’re short, you can simply run another level.
• Upgrading equipment makes a major difference to your stats, helping you clear stages much faster.

Upgrade Your Masteries After Each Level

You may not always be able to upgrade masteries immediately after every stage, but it’s still worth developing the habit. After clearing a level, check whether you’ve found any new cards you can use for passive mastery upgrades to increase your character’s power.
