GUN BROS 2 is an action shooter that picks up the story from the first game—while introducing completely new weapons and fresh gameplay modes. You can play solo, or team up by inviting friends to fight together against relentless waves of enemies. As the enemy pressure never lets up, you’ll need to keep firing and swap between your arsenal to survive, pushing forward until you reach a climactic showdown with the final boss.

The game also includes deep weapon customization. Equip attachments to change how your guns shoot—adding secondary, tertiary, and even quaternary firing behaviors—so your loadout can evolve as you progress. In addition, every mission hides pieces of armor. If you search carefully, you can collect them to boost your HP and SPD.

Story of GUN BROS 2

Years after the first T.O.O.L. wars, the Tyrannical Oppressors Of Life return to finish what they started. Standing between them and total disaster are the F.R.A.G.G.E.D agents Percy and Francis Gun, better known as the Gun Bros.

With a new lineup of extremely advanced—and wildly destructive—weaponry, the Gun Bros are once again tasked with stopping the T.O.O.L. insurgency. The last battle left both sides scrambling to rebuild their armories, and now old Xplodium mines have reopened. Even decommissioned factories are back in operation as the conflict escalates.

Percy and Francis must prevent the threat from returning with an even more devastating arsenal of killing machines. The Gun Bros are back to defend the galaxy—and this time they’ve got plenty of new gear to help them dismantle T.O.O.L.

Features of GUN BROS 2

• Team up with friends to take on T.O.O.L. hordes, and try the new Endless Mode.
• Choose from a wide weapon lineup: pistols, rocket launchers, upgraded laser weapons, and shotguns.
• Collect MODS and attach them to your weapons to unlock extra firing modes (secondary, tertiary, and quaternary). You can even trigger multiple MODS at once.
• Face brutal bosses including Pus Titan, Maullusk, and The Broliminator.



• Use an improved Brotherhood system to invite your bros and coordinate your tour of duty—share the fun, share the love, and share the destruction.
• Take the fight to the ground with the Honey Badger tank. It comes with missile launchers and an inertial accelerator—because sometimes the best strategy is doing donuts on your enemy. (Safety belts not included.)
• Campaign or Arcade progression: unlock new locations and stronger loot in Campaign, or climb the top of the Arcade leaderboards.
• Find hidden armor in every mission. Track them down to raise HP and SPD using bold new styles created by top galaxy designers and military experts—many of whom are apparently the same people.

Strategies of GUN BROS 2

Upgrades

Want harder-hitting guns? Spend war bucks (the game’s premium currency) to increase the strength of your pellets. However, upgrades aren’t the biggest power spike—so it’s usually smarter to save war bucks for a new weapon purchase, especially early on when you’ll constantly be switching guns as you level up. Newly purchased guns tend to outperform what upgrades can offer.

Modifications

Another way to increase your effectiveness is by using weapon modifications. You’ll pick these up from crate drops throughout the game. Effects vary wildly—one example is a mine that hunts down the nearest enemy, providing handy passive damage.

Each weapon has three modification slots. In-game, you can activate them using the bottom-right controls next to your “shooting” stick.

Know Your Speed

Don’t always keep the trigger pressed. Some boss attacks come with heavy area-of-effect firepower. In these moments, ease off a bit—because when you shoot, you move slower. Slower movement makes dodging harder, and at this point speed is critical.

Unneeded Items Are a Boon

During normal play, you may collect plenty of armor you don’t actually need. Don’t hoard it—sell unwanted armor. This can earn you extra xplodium, which you can then use to buy new weapons and become more dangerous against tough opponents.

Eye on Prizes

Crates are one of your most important resources—second only to eliminating enemies and pushing through stages. When crates drop, prioritize grabbing them quickly. They don’t stay on the ground for long, and getting them can help you earn better armor, gain xplodium, and improve your overall loadout.
