• Backyard distraction: Make noise in the backyard, then wait for Grandma to approach. While she is unlocking the door, jump through the window so she won’t see you.



• Avoid creaking floors: Be careful with floorboards that make noise. If you need to move after the window jump, go along the long side of the table. This can give you enough time to search parts of the house.
• Extra caution on hard/extreme: On harder difficulties, Grandma’s field of view is increased. She may turn around and spot you if you’re not careful.
• Basement trick: In the basement, knock over the girder behind the stairs on the right side (clockwise). Then move left (counterclockwise) toward the stairs while Grandma heads downstairs in the same direction to investigate the noise.
• Exit safely: This timing can let you leave the basement without Grandma noticing. For best results, close the door behind you.
