Dinosaur T-Rex Introduction
Dinosaur T-Rex Dinosaur T-Rex is a fun endless parkour adventure. Guide a cute pixel dinosaur through rising-speed obstacles using jumps and crouches to score higher and climb the leaderboard—play anytime, anywhere.
Dinosaur T-Rex
Dinosaur T-Rex is a lightweight parkour adventure where you guide a cute, pixel-style dinosaur through an endless course. You can jump in and play at any time and from anywhere. Along the route, a variety of obstacles will block your path, so you’ll need to react quickly—jumping and crouching to keep moving forward and earn a higher score. Your performance is tracked on a leaderboard, so you can compare your runs with other players.
As you advance, the game ramps up the challenge by increasing both the speed and how often obstacles appear. To score higher, stay focused and keep your reactions controlled rather than panicking.
How to Play Dinosaur T-Rex
Like the classic endless runner style, the T-Rex must survive by dodging an endless stream of hazards—such as cacti and pterodactyls—that appear along its path.
The dinosaur begins running automatically when you start the game: press Space on desktop, or tap the dinosaur if you’re playing on a phone or tablet.

- Avoiding cacti: jump over them by pressing Space or the Up Arrow.
- Dodging pterodactyls: duck when the flying obstacle appears by pressing the Down Arrow.
- If you hit an obstacle: the run ends immediately, and the game shows your score.
- Scoring: you earn points based on how long you survive in the game.

Your main goal is to stay alive as long as possible. During gameplay, the background color alternates between white and black, representing day and night. In the built-in browser version, the run can also stop when your internet connection is restored, not only when you fail to dodge.

And yes—finishing the entire run isn’t really the point. The developers joke that completing everything would take roughly 17 million years. The speed keeps climbing too, until the game becomes so fast that human reaction time can’t keep up; even AI systems trained to play eventually struggle when the frame refresh rate isn’t enough to handle the pace. The dinosaur can get that quick.
Useful Tips for Higher Scores
Know When to Jump and Duck
Timing is everything. The most common obstacle is the cactus, which you clear by jumping with the Space Bar. Flying birds/pterodactyls are different—if you see one approaching, crouch with the Down Arrow. Jumping at the wrong moment will make you collide with the air obstacle.
Turn Up the Challenge
The game naturally grows harder as you progress. If you want an extra challenge, you can increase the speed further by adjusting a few settings in your browser’s developer tools. Running the game faster raises the difficulty and forces quicker reactions.
Practice Improves Reaction Time
Even if it feels simple at first, the constant speed increase demands better timing. Replaying the game helps you build consistency—especially for when to jump and when to duck—so your reactions become more automatic over time.
Watch Farther Ahead
Keep your eyes on what’s coming next. The more you can anticipate an upcoming obstacle, the more time you’ll have to prepare a jump or a duck. Try to predict the next hazard so you’re ready before it reaches you.
Use the Space Bar Wisely
Some players mash the Space Bar repeatedly, but that can cause avoidable mistakes. Press Space only when you actually need to jump, and make sure the timing is precise. Constant tapping can throw off your rhythm and cost you the correct moment.
Player Feedback
- “I love it!” No need to shut off all my internet to play on the web. I tried it with internet, but on my setup the screen doesn’t fit well since I don’t have a computer.
- “Better than the web version.” The higher your score, the more you can unlock—skins, birds, accessories, and even new obstacles. If you play on mobile, this is really recommended.
- “Fun offline and no glitches.” It doesn’t lag or glitch, and it’s a great way to challenge yourself by beating your own score.
- “No ads and easy to enjoy.” It’s simple, has no lag, and it works on phones, tablets, laptops, and even iPads (and maybe more devices). One of the first games I ever rated 5 stars.
- “Great for whenever you’re bored.” You can play it anytime, including offline, and it stays fun and straightforward.
