Dead by Daylight Mobile Introduction
Dead by Daylight Mobile Dead by Daylight Mobile is a tense survival horror where 1 Killer hunts 4 Survivors. Survivors repair 5 of 7 generators and escape, while the Killer uses abilities and speed to capture and sacrifice.
Dead by Daylight Mobile
Dead by Daylight Mobile is a survival horror game that mixes tense action with chilling atmosphere. At the start of each match, you’re placed on either the Survivor side or the Killer side. Choose your character according to the win conditions, and then step into a unique experience—each character brings their own look and special skills.
As a Survivor, your goal is to stay one step ahead of the Killer. You’ll need to move carefully, dodge pursuit, and help the team complete objectives. To win, Survivors must repair five generators out of seven spread across the map. Once those are powered, the exit gates become available.
As a Killer, you’re armed with distinctive abilities plus the advantage of faster movement. You can use your powers to track Survivors, including periodic detection of their locations and nearby objectives like generators. Your mission is to hunt, capture, and ultimately sacrifice the Survivors before they escape.
The game also offers many different maps, each with its own layout, terrain, and obstacles. Learning map routes and coordinating with teammates are key to escaping successfully—making every trial feel fresh and exciting.
Gameplay Overview
Dead by Daylight is an asymmetrical horror game where one player becomes the Killer and four players are Survivors. Each match is called a trial.
Survivor Objective
Survivors must escape by repairing five of the seven generators found around the map. When completed, the work powers up two exit gates that can be used to leave the trial.
Killer Objective
The Killer’s job is to place all Survivors onto hooks before they get away. Once Survivors are hooked enough times, they are sent to a hostile force known as the Entity.

Endgame Situation
When only one Survivor remains, an escape hatch appears somewhere on the map. If the hatch is closed, or if the exit gates are opened, the two-minute “Endgame Collapse” begins.
The timer can be extended if there are Survivors who are incapacitated or currently hooked. When the Endgame Collapse timer reaches zero, any Survivors still in the trial are immediately taken by the Entity.
How the Killer Captures Survivors
To down Survivors, the Killer must either:

- Hit twice: One strike injures Survivors, and a second strike while they’re in the downed/dying sequence places them into the dying state. Then the Killer can pick them up off the ground.
- Grab in one motion: Catch Survivors unexpectedly while they interact with certain objects (like generators), allowing a faster capture.
Survivors can only be removed from hooks by other Survivors, unless a perk allows a Survivor to self-unhook. If a Survivor is hooked a second time, they must resist the Entity by repeatedly completing skill checks until they’re either sacrificed or rescued. A third hook results in the Survivor being sacrificed to the Entity.

Movement, Chases, and Map Tactics
- Survivors can sprint, walk, crouch-walk, or crawl when in the dying state.
- In a chase, Survivors survive by
or hiding successfully. - Most Killers move slightly faster than a sprinting Survivor, but may be slower at actions like vaulting and window traversal, which can give Survivors valuable time.
- Survivors can place wooden pallets on the map. If the Killer is close enough when a pallet is dropped, the Killer is stunned briefly.
- After the pallet is down, the Survivor can vault over it, though only some Killers can. Most must either break the pallet or move around it.

Many Killers also have an aura-reading ability that reveals the location of generators, hooks, and sometimes Survivors. Since every Killer comes with their own unique power (which can be enhanced or changed using add-ons earned during gameplay), builds and playstyles can vary dramatically.
Much of the game revolves around chases. Survivors rely on clever use of the environment, smart timing, and team coordination—either outmaneuvering the Killer or creating openings so teammates can complete objectives.
