Changelog

We originally planned to make this update shorter so we could deliver it within a month. In practice, we ended up going over by more than 20 extra days—because the update grew to be nearly the same length as the previous one (around 17,500 words).

Animation improvements have been added. If you enjoy extra detail and deeper immersion, you may really like these changes.

Story Content & Choices

This update includes three impactful choices—not counting the choices that fall under Clara’s POV, which will appear depending on your relationship with your wife.

Depending on how things go, you may or may not unlock bonus and special scenes *wink wink*.

The stakes rise gradually throughout the update, and as the MC you’ll notice you have more freedom to act and shape what happens.

You’ll be able to experience multiple emotions in this update, and it’s up to you how you handle them.

Be careful, though: the wrong decisions can affect people you care about in serious ways.

Please let us know if these added choices are something you wanted—especially since we included them to help you feel more connected to the characters.

Technical Notes (Ren’Py / Saves)

We updated our Ren’Py, and because of that, some older saves might not load. If you run into a save error, you’ll need to skip through the previous updates to create a new save.

We also recommend everyone replay—or at least skip through—the v0.5 Part B update, since we changed a certain variable. For it to apply, you’ll need to go through that update one more time.

Audio Bug

Some users reported a small bug in the animation audio from the last update where they didn’t hear the SFX. Not everyone experienced it, but if you did, replaying should work, and the issue should now be fixed.
