Special Forces Group 2 Introduction

Special Forces Group 2 Special Forces Group 2 is a fast first-person action shooter for Android, featuring solo or squad battles, multiple modes, weapon skins, and frequent updates with new maps and gear.

Special Forces Group 2

Special Forces Group 2 is a fast-paced first-person action shooter where you can play solo or team up with friends in multiple game modes. To succeed, you’ll need to master a range of weapons, learn the layout of each map, and use accurate shooting to secure wins and earn rich rewards.

The game also includes a wide selection of weapon skins, so you can swap appearances freely and stand out on the battlefield. Special Forces Group 2 is continuously supported with updates, adding new maps, additional modes, and more weapons to keep the experience fresh.

Game Modes in Special Forces Group 2

Classic

Two teams—Counter-Terror and Terror—spawn at their own designated locations. There is no respawn. The team that eliminates all players on the enemy side earns the win.

Special Forces Group 2

After the round ends, the next round reverses the spawn points between the two teams, and the match continues again with the same rules.

Resurrection

Special Forces Group 2

This mode resembles team deathmatch, but the scoreboard doesn’t decide the winner. Instead, the team with more surviving members when the time limit ends takes the round.

You can gain an advantage by pushing near the final seconds to secure extra survivors.

  • Respawns are allowed, but the respawn delay is long—so getting killed late can hurt your momentum.
  • While the outcome isn’t decided yet, players respawn at their team’s base.
  • Once the winner/loser is determined, respawn points switch between teams—similar to Classic.

Capture to Flag

In this flag-capture mode, your goal is simple: bring an enemy flag back to your own base before the timer runs out. If any enemy flag is returned successfully, your team gains a victory point.

Note: friendly spawn zones are limited and protected, meaning the moment you push into enemy territory, expect heavy resistance.

Also, the mode uses a unique guidance voice (described as a futuristic woman). If you play while switching among other modes, you may notice the guidance audio feels different from the usual voice style.

Zombie Mode

This is the true “zombie” style mode. When the match starts, players are randomly split into two groups: a zombie team and a human team.

The humans must survive until the end by killing zombies within the time limit. The zombies win by eliminating all human players.

Special Forces Group 2

  • If a human player is killed by a zombie, after a short respawn delay they automatically return as a zombie.
  • Unlike some other zombie-style modes, zombies do not get temporarily slowed even if they’re shot—so stay alert.
  • The mode can include players who troll, including attempts to climb boxes or high spots using jumping and sitting mechanics.
  • Special Forces Group 2

And if a human grabs a machine gun… just expect things to get rough for the zombies.

Bomb Mode

Bomb Mode follows the same overall idea as bomb defusal gameplay from the Counter-Strike series. A C4 is assigned to one member of the Terror team.

The Counter-Terror team must stop the Terror team from planting the bomb, defuse it before it explodes, or wipe out the opposing team.

  • No respawning is possible.
  • Special Forces Group 2

  • This mode wasn’t present in Part 1, but it was added in Part 2.
  • Only a limited set of maps are available: Desert3, Nuke, West, BigDesert, Spaniard2, and Desert2.

Key Features of Special Forces Group 2

Diverse Game Modes

Special Forces Group 2 offers a wide variety of modes, including Classic, Resurrection, Capture the Flag, Zombie, Bomb Mode, Knives, Deathmatch, Arms Race, and Sniper.

You can switch modes based on how you want to play—from coordinated team objectives to faster elimination matches. This variety supports both short sessions and longer team strategies, keeping repeated play from feeling repetitive.

Flexible Multiplayer and Offline Bots

You can jump into online matchmaking or create a local LAN-style match by using a WiFi router. The game also supports singleplayer with bots, which is great for learning maps and practicing at your own pace.

That means you can still play when internet access is limited, and switching between offline and online is just a menu option.

Maps, Characters, and Skins for Variety

The game includes 30+ maps, eight character slots per team, and 134 weapon skins. Map sizes range from smaller arenas to larger battle spaces, so you can choose layouts that match your preferred play style.

Character and skin choices make teams visually easier to distinguish while still letting you personalize your look.

A Full Mobile Weapon Arsenal

Special Forces Group 2 includes a broad selection of weapons and gear:

  • 9 pistols
  • 4 shotguns
  • 6 SMGs
  • 12 rifles
  • 5 sniper rifles
  • 3 machine guns
  • 3 grenades
  • 3 vests

You can tailor your loadout to the mode and map. The weapons are designed with a familiar Counter-Strike-like feel on mobile, with straightforward choices and quick switching during gameplay.
