Granny 4: The Rebellion is a tense horror escape game. You wake up inside a frightening house run by a terrifying grandpa and grandma. To get out, you’ll need to stay alert at all times—especially because the grandmother is extremely sensitive to sound.

Move carefully, explore silently, and use items around the environment to solve puzzles, uncover useful objects, and follow clues. Are you brave (and quiet) enough to escape?

The game also includes hidden areas you can discover. They add extra risk, but they may give you new options to progress—so the tension keeps growing. The developers plan to keep updating the game with new modes and more puzzles, so keep an eye out for future content.

Story

The adventure starts with a short backstory. Late at night, the protagonist walks through a forest and stumbles toward a massive old house. Soon, they spot a decayed woman holding a baseball bat—then everything goes black as they’re knocked out.

Later, the player wakes up in a bedroom inside the house.

How progression works: You must search the house, collect items, use them, and solve puzzles to move forward—while avoiding attacks from multiple threats such as Granny, Spider Mom, the Spider, the Crow, and other dangerous hazards.

Attempts / days system: You have five days (or five attempts) to escape. If you’re knocked out, you advance to the next day and respawn at the initial spawn location. If you fail on the fifth day (or sixth after a bonus day), you’ll be sent to a cutscene where the player is killed (this does not happen in Practice mode).

Winning the game: Escape by reaching the outside through any of the three exits. Each route is blocked by obstacles, and you’ll need to figure out how to bypass them to finish the escape.

Main Antagonist: Granny

Granny is the central pursuer. She chases you when she spots you, can detect when items fall, sets bear traps to catch you, and knocks you out when you’re close enough.

Hiding mechanics: You can hide in spots like under beds, tables, cupboards, and wardrobes to avoid being chased. However, if you hide while Granny is actively chasing you, she can force you out of your hiding spot and knock you out.

Fighting: Depending on the difficulty setting and available options, you may be able to fight back—sometimes stunning or knocking Granny out briefly and putting her at a disadvantage.
