Ocean Keeper is an underwater tower-defense experience where you pilot mechs to explore alien planets scattered across the sea. As you travel, you’ll encounter a variety of underwater scenery and biomes. You can also gather materials to upgrade and customize your mech—then hold your ground against relentless attacks from sea monsters and powerful bosses to stay alive in this harsh ocean world.

As the game progresses, you’ll unlock and improve different artifacts to increase your combat strength. Because your mechs and weapons can be upgraded along separate paths, you can build a survival setup that matches your own playstyle.

Gameplay Overview

Ocean Keeper: Dome Survival blends roguelike and strategy elements. The action runs in two alternating modes:

Mode 1: Digger Cave Runs

• You control Digger and explore underwater caves located throughout the level.



• Your goal is to collect valuable resources and relics used for upgrades.
• A timer shows how long remains until the next enemy wave.
• Before the creatures arrive, you must return to your Mech with as many collected items as possible.



• When the wave begins, enemies attack and start breaking through, including threats aimed at your Mech and its defenses.

Mode 2: Mech Combat & Weapon Control

• You take control of a Mech, move it around, and manage its weapons.
• Once all ocean creatures are defeated, the game continues alternating between the two modes.
• The loop repeats until your Mech is completely destroyed.

The overall objective is simple: survive as long as possible against continuous waves that grow tougher with each new round.

Mining, Resources, and Relics

Exploring the caves lets you collect iron, copper, and diamonds, along with relics.

• Resources can be used to restore health, increase damage, improve movement speed, and more.
• Relics act as weapons and power-ups. They are equipped directly on the Digger and Mech.

The game also uses a meta-currency system. Some items can be spent during a run, while others carry over after death to upgrade your setup back in the gaming hub.

The Gaming Hub

The gaming hub is where you spend your resources to upgrade equipment for future sessions. It also features three different suits for both the Mech and Digger, with the available suit changing based on what you choose to upgrade in the hub.
